Terrible slow service - Edit

Out of all vegan food except blueberry muffin, which was overly sugared and dry.

Tiny outlet of popular, healthy chain - Edit

This tiny outlet of LPQ (Le Pain Quotidien) is located inside Bryant Park, behind the main branch of the NY Public Library. Contrary to what is suggested in the Happy Cow description above (which refers to the typical branches of LPQ, not this particular one) they offer only a very few vegan items at this kiosk ( a sandwich, an avocado toast, a couple of soups, and a couple of breakfast items). But the food is not the main attraction here, after all: this place serves mainly as a convenience for those who want to hang out at Bryant Park, and the vegan items they do offer here are fine.

If you want a real meal, or if this kiosk runs out of what you want (it is small, after all), don't worry: there are plenty fine vegan-friendly takeout places nearby (such as Sweetgreen or Cava across the street), and there is full-fledged branch of LPQ for sit-down dining just south of Bryant Park on 40th Street.
