OK food and service on the pricy side - Edit
We where hier for brunch time. Took long to get the food and it wasn't that special. Few vegan options to choose from. I had to add sugar to the coffee which is never a good thing.. All and all I found it to expensive for what you get. On my way out I grabbed the vegan hibiscus croissant to go and that was very good, I just don't get the chance to get vegan pastries every day.

Some nice vegan options - Edit
The gardener's croque and avocado toast are vegan and really nice. They have a nice vegan hibiscus croissant as well, and some vegan deserts f ex a tasty vegan chocolate cake. Breakfast is possible, f ex if you pick a fruit salad with a hibiscus croissant and bread with jam.

Hibiscus Trash - Edit
We only tried the Hibiscus Croissant and tbh it wasn't that great and kind of trashy. The croissant was covered with "Hibiscus" what actually was a pink sugar coating.
Read moreThe ambiente looked very fine though but you are only allowed to sit down when ordering from the menu (which is more expensive).

Lekker maar heel druk - Edit
Lekkere vegan opties. Redelijk duur. Heerlijke coffee en drankjes. Wel vaak heel druk en de tafeltjes zijn erg klein. Gezellige sfeer en mooie decoratie.

Very good - Edit
Has a few vegan options and they are very tasty. They brought us butter with the bread although all us ordered vegan :(. We told them and they replaced it with olive oil.

Good vegan brunch - Edit
This is a nice location, part of a chain of restaurants in Belgium and they all have the proposal of vegan dishes based on salad, bread, toast...
Read moreThey include things like quinoa, chickpeas, avocado, zucchini...so it's definitely very tasty.
For the desserts it changes apparently from location to location.
They clearly pay attention to vegan and are proposing more and more vegan suggestions, like even a special vegan breakfast.
Good experience.
Pros: Good vegan proposal, Nice place, Friendly staff
Cons: Removing meat and fish just a dream?

Good vegan options! - Edit
We visited different Le Pain Quotidien restaurants when on holiday in Belgium. They are always in very central touristic places and offer some great vegan options. For coffee/tea time, I really loved the “Chocolate Delice” cake, but didn’t like the berry muffin too much (too dry). For breakfast, the avocado toast is good, granola is good but a small portion, or you could just have bread (e.g. cranberry and nuts flute) with sweet spreads/jam (the “Noir” chocolate spread is sooo good – the spreads are on the tables but there are different ones. If you don’t find this on your table, it is worth checking out the spreads on other tables or asking for it). I was with a non-vegan friend and sharing the “Le Pain Quotidien” breakfast (where she ate the non-vegan Pain au chocolat and I ordered an additional soy cappuccino) was great value - you could probably replace the Pain au chocolate with more baguette/bread . For lunch/dinner they also have salads/soups/bowls and dishes like that. Although Le Pain Quotidien is a chain restaurant, there’s a good and cosy atmosphere.

goed gegeten - Edit

Busy - Edit
I came here for lunch. We were seated and then ignored. Finally a waiter came up to us with a menu but told us it would take at least 50 minutes to be served because it was so busy.
Read moreWe left because we didn't want to wait so long. I did see a few vegan options and coffee with plantbased milk but obviously I didn't taste them.
Cons: Long waiting
