We came here twice, ordered a pizza and a rainbowl the first time and then a couple of burgers the second time. We enjoyed all our food, the prices were high but that's fairly normal for the town, the quality of food was great. A live guitarist on Monday night when we were there.

O único motivo para eu nāo dar 5 estrelas ao restaurante é o fato de ainda existirem algumas opçőes vegetarianas. Nāo fosse isso, daria 5 estrelas com prazer.

An Oasis in Valladolid - Edit
In Valladolid, a quaint town with few vegan-friendly restaurants, arriving to Le' Kaat felt like landing on the soft beach of an island oasis. The selections are many, both vegan and vegetarian, and the menu includes several vegan dessert choices. The "snickers," and the chocolate cake - which I ordered with a scoop of vegan chocolate ice cream - were lovely finishes to the main courses: vegan risotto, and a vegan falafel plate with hummus, quinoa tabouli, salad, sweet potatoes and pita bread. The service was consummate and the open air restaurant with outdoor garden seating creates a cozy and comfortable enclosure for dining in a dense old town neighborhood. I highly recommend Le' Kaat for Vegans and Vegetarians visiting the Yucatán.

I had the falafel/Mediterranean plate, my friend had the hummus and veggie appetizer. We both hated the hummus and found the texture too weird to eat. My plate was very dry- no dressing on the salad. I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated, maybe everything else is way better??

So much choice and we had a fantastic meal here. Excellent quality and lots of flavour. Beautiful dining area and courtyard lit up beautifully, and there was a guitarist playing classics like the Beatles which really added to the ambience and made for a romantic evening (but plenty of groups of people too). Lovely spot!

I love their menu, because it has so many options. I was only a bit disappointed about the amount of food and the lack of taste. I had a falafel in pita with hummus and home made tzatziki sauce. All vegan. But there was hardly any humus on the pita and it all tasted a bit too neutral.

The food was ok, but nothing special. I tried the squash soup and the taco trio. The taco "meat" was a soy alternative sold in Mexican supermarkets that's preseasoned to have a "meaty" flavor and texture. All they did was smother it in different sauces. I wanted to like this place, but I wasn't impressed.

Was such a nice place that we came here for both dinner and breakfast! Many vegan options for both dinner and breakfast, all well thought through. Very nice atmosphere and there were always people there when we passed by (which I see as a good grade). Super friendly and engaging staff. We were also lucky to go there for dinner when they had a musician performing both Mexican and international hits with his guitar, which was a romantic bonus. Lovely little outdoor seating area, but as the restaurant is open towards the road with no clear door to close it was no problem to sit “inside” either. Very good food too, also appreciated by my non-vegan or vegetarian husband (even though it could - as most places we went to in Mexico - need some more seasoning to really bring out the flavours of their fantastic produces). Also appreciated that they had vegan desserts, as that is not that easy to get in many other restaurants. Would definitely return!
