Lovely tagine - Edit
Lovely for us to have a fully vegan restaurant in Essaouria (next door to the only other vegan place) we ordered the chickpea spring rolls, the pumpkin filo and lentil tagine. The owner brought out banana with cinnamon/cumin on before ordering. We both enjoyed the tagine the most and would get this again each next time. The owner was sweet and gave us two small bracelets when we left ♥️

Lots of different tagines and juices on the menu. Nice to have a tagine that wasn't just a vegetable one. Also spring rolls and pastilla. We visited twice and tried the tagines and spring rolls. The tagines had a really good spice mix and were very tasty. Also the spring rolls were really good. Quiet location and quick service from the owner. Very reasonable price.

Nach 3-4 Bissen war mir so übel, dass ich mich übergeben musste.
Zuerst dachte ich es lag an der Sauce welche leicht drüber gegossen wurde aber auch die Füllung des Burgers war wiewenn man auf einen Klumpen Salz beißen würde/bzw einen Teelöffel pures Salz in den Mund nehmen würde.
Der Chef/koch hat darauf angesprochen bloß mit den Schultern gezuckt😒
Leider bei uns ein totaler Fehlgriff

cute little place! i got the brik for takeaway as i was craving something sweet. he recommended me the mix filling with banana figs dates almonds nuts apricots etc it was delicious and i got a little piece to try while waiting!

We had the spring rolls, pumpkin tagine and aubergine/artichoke tagine along with fresh orange juice. The man that runs the place didn't have great English and was a bit standoffish but gave us a lovely meal. The spring rolls were particularly good, served as two large rolls filled with various vegetables rather than small rolls.

This gentleman who runs the restaurant alone, is cooking like a pro and doing service at the same time. He cooks the most delicious items, the prices are good and taste is amazing. We went here several times and were always leaving with a smile. Definitely give it a try.

The food was absolutely incredible. I had the lentil and white bean pastilla, potato and olive tagine, and mint-orange juice. Everything was divine but the pastilla in particular is probably the best food I’ve had in Morocco so far. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Lots of really great vegan eats. If you like Tajine (who doesn’t) then you’re going to be in heaven! So many different types and all cooked fresh. Also very easy to get to if you’re staying in the Medina.

I was so impressed with how flavorful the food was. The best tajine I’ve had in Morocco. We had the eggplant, artichoke and mushroom tajine, and the egg rolls with chickpeas, spinach and mushrooms. Its was hard to choose what to order, the menu was vast.

In this restaurant you will find a world of different tagines, all tagines flavours are here and they are vegan! We had the artichokes and chickpeas tagine and it was delicious, fabulous tastes, really good! We add also the mushrooms and artichokes, yes we are artichokes fans 😅, and it was equally delicious! Definitely recommend it!
