Unfortunately, no vegan options - and even vegetarian options very hard to get. We came in the morning to give the heads up and ask for vegan options foe evening. Waiter mentioned that adding "vegetarian" options to the menu is just a "plan", not yet implemented

Visiting Chateau Country - Edit
Being vegan in rural France is getting easier. It’s not like the UK yet...but with some advance notice this charming little hotel just outside the grounds of the fabulous Château de Villandry will make you a lovely vegan meal. This is not something they commonly do or advertise. However, I do speak some french so I was able to walk in off the street and they were wonderful to me. They even told me, that with advance notice, in english or other language, they will be more able to create a lovely vegan meal for you. Just go to their website: www.lecheval-rouge.com or send them an email @ contact@lecheval-rouge.com and tell them when you’re coming and they will do their best to make you something special and substantial. I was so pleased.

Pros: Super helpful staff, Convenient to Villandry, Loire Valley, Real food possible, not just fries+ green salad
