Serves meat, vegan options available. A small Lebanese cafe with a more affordable menu than the restaurants surrounding it. Plenty for vegans, such as lentil and lemon soup; hummus and baba ghanoush with flatbread; foule; chips; side plates of sweet onions, pickles, and mint leaves; green beans in a tomato sauce; and fried cauliflower with tahini. Frequented by both tourists and locals. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-12:00am. Open Mon-Sat for lunch and dinner.

Amazing, authentic Lebanese food. I highly recommend the hummus with pine nuts, just delicious and probably the best hummus I've ever tried.

authentic restaurant, traditional Lebanese food - Edit
*5 stars*
Read moreLe Chef is a must visit if you’re in Beirut. The owner is a legend who greets you with a loud 'Welcome'. Lebanese cuisine offers a variety of vegan dishes & this restaurant serves them to a high standard in a pleasant atmosphere. The place is not about being fancy, but about meeting and introducing its foreign guests to the traditional cuisine of Lebanon.

Go here to try vegan Lebanese food - Edit
Lebanon has tons of accidentally vegan options, but most of the vegan restaurants there specialize in western food. If you don't have a lot of time and want to try, the local cuisine, definitely hit this place up. We particularly loved the Swiss chard dolmas.

Very good traditional Lebanese food - Edit
Le Chef is the kind of place you need to go to if you are in Beirut and wish to try some good Lebanese food at a fair price. Lebanese food in general has several vegan options (hummus, mutabbal, hinbeh, fattoush, tabbouleh, etc) and you will find all of them here.
