Delicious! - Edit
Warn them in advance of your veganism and you won't be disappointed by what they make for you!
Read moreI had an awesome 3 course meal here consisting of a fresh spring roll, moussaka and mango panacotta. All vegan of course. Delish. A couple of options on the menu either are or can be veganised as well but best to forewarn.
Lovely location too which is a plus.
Pros: Delicious , Inventive , Lovely place

Une belle surprise - Edit
Comme dit dans les commentaires précédents, l'équipe du Caillau prépare facilement un délicieux menu végane si vous leur demandez lors de la réservation. En plus le cadre est magnifique !

Go out of their way - Edit
With a few days notice they whipped us up a veegs storm. Lovely setting to take your time over 3 vegan courses. Gazpacho soup to start, chickpea fritters with wild rice & oak choi main, nut & oat cake with chocolate topping and poached pears. Beautiful food, great service. Lovely evening. Nice to see they regularly have a vegetarian choice on their menu and will adapt for vegans.

Excellent Vegan food & Fantastic Service - Edit
Not a vegan restaurant but they were more than happy to design a vegan meal especially for us. The menu is seasonal and there is always a vegetarian option on the menu but they design the vegan option especially. They ask that you book in advance though to give them some time to come up with something special.
Read moreWe had seared asparagus to start with preserved lemon and dukkah. Main was beetroot & quinoa galettes with Wild rice, sauteed greens and a sesame and lime dressing. Dessert was the creamiest chia and coconut pudding with a strawberry compote. The whole thing was outstanding from start to finish and the service equally so. I would highly recommend it for anyone travelling near the area. Definitely worth the trip!!
Pros: Food was excellent, Menu designed specifically for us, Very reasonable
Cons: Absolutelt none!

delicious vegetarian food - Edit
The restaurant is in a stone farmhouse surrounded by vineyards. It is unusual for the region in that there is always a vegetarian starter and main course on offer. This time I had roast cauliflower and lentils. It was delicious, as was the dessert. My vegetarian daughter hates cauliflower and the chef put together a plate of other vegetables for her. Book in advance, it gets full, specially in summer, when you can eat outside.
