Cheap quick eats

For what you get, you can't beat the price. Not the best atmosphere, but if you take food to go it's great. Very filling food so you'll feel full without spending a lot of money. There is a vegetarian menu with most of not all being vegan (haven't confirmed).

Pros: Vegetarian menu labeled, Prices

Cons: Uncertain which items on vegetatian menu are vegan, Atmosphere

Read reviews and decided to give it a try and didn’t get disappointed.

All vegetarian dishes are actually vegan and absolutely delicious. We loved it so much that got food to go as well. Highly recommend!

Pros: Delicious food made quickly and mainly homemade!

Cons: Small and not a fancy place but didn’t bother us.

Zero Complaints

I would've reviewed earlier but I thought I uploaded it actually. Turned out that was stamford. But let me tell you, I like Mediterranean food, but I LOVE this place. I also don't eat out much, but I've gone to this place 3 times in the last 6 months. The only reason this place keeps getting 4 star reviews is b/c happycow only lets you give 5* for places that don't serve meat. It's not very spacious or pretty (they do have outdoor seating though), so not an ideal date spot or anything, but if you want a place that's quick and has a bunch of delicious vegan options (the entire vegetarian section of the menu they say is vegan) you will not be disappointed. And it's cheap!

Pros: price, Taste, Number of options

Cons: cramped inside, Aesthetics

Fantastic, Authentic, Delicious. What more do you need?

I wish there were more words to put this culinary experience into words, but all that comes to mind is that it was a religious experience. From the friendly service to the amazing food to the middle eastern music, i was in heaven.

Had the platter of rice and lentils, served along with hummus and salad and pita. I asked for one falafel to try and they gave me exactly one, very sweetly. And then on the side (if that wasn't enough food) a zatar pie, a spice ive been obsessed with since having it on an avocado in boston.

Overall, extremely pleased, especially considering I had a similar meal in Israel a few months prior. Very filling too. The hummus is smooth and creamy, the lentils and rice filling and delicious, the salad light and flavorful. The pita was stupendous, especially with some falafel and hummus. And the zatar pie with tahini dipping sauce was a unique and new dish for me but was a great snack!

I did ask to try the famous garlic sauce which is literally two ingredients - potato and garlic. Like the inside of a pierogi. Had a very strong bite to it, but smooth and delicious. Can see this working well with pita and veggies, but if you aren't a fan of garlic steer clear, it is not a subtle taste.

Highly recommend. Absolutely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but they have a family feel that makes me want to come back weekly.

Pros: Delicious Food, Authentic Music!, Friendly Staff

Cons: A bit of a "grungy" appearance, Small
