The vegan pizzas were incredible! A very good selection of those to choose from with choice of crust too (we got gluten free - crisp and delicious). Coconut-pineapple drink was beautiful and hit the spot perfectly. Lovely atmosphere and nice ocean breezes coming through the open indoor space, chill music in the background, at a perfect volume to hold conversation with ease. Our server was so kind and helpful, really responsive to our questions whether about the food or about the area of Puerto Morelos. Will definitely be back!

Been vegan 10+ years, this is definitely the best vegan pizza I've had. Everything they have is amazing even the sauces. I had the mushroom pizza and the Mediterranean pizza. They are just outstanding. Lucio couldn't be more friendly. If you are even in Cancun or Playa Del Carmen it is worth taking the ADO to spend a day on the beach and eat dinner here. P.s. Puerto Morelos has the 2nd largest coral reef in the world. The ocean here is beautiful.

This is the second time I have been to Layla’s, the entire staff is friendly and kind, there are so many vegan options it is hard to choose. They make everything from scratch except one of the vegan cheeses that is on the Mediterranean Pizza (which I ordered this time) but they will have that perfected soon enough. They speak English and Spanish incase you haven’t perfected a second language yet and the menu is in both languages as well. Their empanadas are delicious, I have tried them all but my favorite is the mushroom, and they have a delicious chimichurri to go with it. I enjoyed everything both times I came to eat, and I can’t forget the dessert, the Alfajor is delicious, haven’t had one in years and their vegan version was excellent. The staff is glad to speak with you and also there are many wonderful people there, muy buena onda. They have events on different nights, the first night I went they had live music. Highly recommended to everyone coming through Puerto Morelos.

The gf pizza crust is really good! We always get the ‘eat your f%&@ veggies’ one and love how they top it with lots and lots of fresh veggies like zucchini, onion, mushrooms etc. Whatever is in season. They have some good home made spicy salsas too. We usually order the pizza without the vegan cheese, because we don’t need it and we feel like it can make the crust a bit soggy if we don’t eat it fast😄the pizza is delicious without it! The taste of the cheese is great though and also home made!

This place is an absolute gem, you must stop there if you’re in Puerto Morelos. The taste of the pizzas amazed us. If you want to taste more than one pizza, just ask to do half and half! That’s what we did and we didn’t regret it. I had the gluten free dough and it was veryyy good, I was impressed because gluten free is always less nice than actual wheat dough but this one was not like the others. The setting in itself is beautiful, they have several rooftops where you can chill before, after or even while you eat.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved these vegan pizzas! My friend and I split a pizza that was half “pink flow” and half “eat your f%&@ vegetables” and that was the perfect size for us. The two different kinds of pizzas were something I’ve never seen before. I’m a vegetarian and was honestly a little skeptical of the idea of vegan pizzas but the pizzas at cafe Layla were honestly better than most of the regular pizzas I’ve had. The ambiance was very cool too with live music and spacious seating. Would definitely recommend to anyone, vegan or not!

Great pizza selection, including an experimental seasonal veg pizza. They make their own nut cheese in various forms. It was delicious!
