Good falafel plate - Edit
Layalina is a Syrian restaurant that offers the usual meat-heavy dishes, but also several falafel combos and a few salads and starters. Most of the vegetarian dishes can be veganized by ordering them without yoghurt sauce. Watch out, though, because the fried veggies contain egg according to the allergens in the menu! It might be best to ask about the ingredients when ordering just to be on the safe side.
Read moreThe staff are very friendly and the falafel plate is a good meal. It is affordable and filling. The falafel tasted very good and was fresh and home-made, and the sides were nice. We also ordered a portion of chips, these were a bit too soft, but that is personal taste I guess.
Unfortunately, though, the restaurant is not that clean. The toilets were really nasty when we were there, and the seating area could use a thorough cleaning, too.
Because of that, we would rather order takeaway next time.
We also waited rather long, which is ok for the falafel because it was freshly made, but it would have been nice to get our drinks a bit quicker and not only when the food came.
We still liked the food and I love the fact that apart from the falafel, they offer starters and salads, too, so we will order these to take-away some time in the future. I hope that they work on the cleanliness because then it would be a good place altogether.

Fresh food with friendly service. The restaurant displays exterior signs advertising their freshly made falafel as vegan. Vegans will need to request no yoghurt sauce.
