Such a cute place with nice outdoor patio. Amazing food at Amazing prices and you get big portions. I had the Tempeh Royale and struggled to finish half of it. The vegan chili was also very good and the small bowl was huge too! Will definitely be back!

My daughter and I went here and really enjoyed our food. I got a veggie bowl with tofu and loved it, especially the garlic tahini sauce. I took home some veggie chili for later and that was delicious too. Would definitely eat here again!

This place like so many places need workers. The gal that took our order was also preparing some of the food.

The vegan chili and small garden salad was good. I also got a whole wheat tortilla and vegan cookies to go.
Pros: Great prices on big cookies

I enjoyed visiting Laughing planet, It had a good atmosphere and a lot of options. I really enjoyed the chocolate chip oatmeal cookie. I also got one of the bowls but I thought there was too much going on and the flavors clashed a bit. Not my favorite but not bad.

Okay Omni Option - Edit
While this was a great place for both a vegan and omnis to be able to choose whatever foods they like, it really wasn’t anything super special. My food was a little bland and with my Thai Bowl, there was a lot of vegetables and not much of the other ingredients that I think make a great Thai dish. The folks who were omni gave it a similar review with what they ordered.

We’ve been here several times. We thought the menu was totally vegan but it turns out it is not. Tasty and not the usual type dishes. We highly recommend!

Delicious - Edit
I always order online to make sure my meal is correct as I've had multiple occasions in-person where they forget to sub vegan options. No upcharge for vegan cheese/sour cream/sauces. Most of the cookies offered are vegan as well. Smoothies aren't worth the money but the organic soda is great. They compost which is super neat. All of the salsa and sauces are made in-house

Dozens of vegan options & rotating specials - Edit
This place is great. Almost the entire menu is veganizable, and they have a smattering of almost every type of cuisine in the world. One of our favorites is the Thai bowl, but the Mexican, Indian, South American, Southern, and even American options are good too. There is a good veggie side every day that can be added to any meal. They also serve a wide variety of smoothies, fresh juices, beers, and coffee. Finally, no trip is complete without leaving with half a dozen different vegan cookies that are always spectacular.

Decent beer. Salty food with vegan subs. Certainly not a bad option if you seek to keep death off your plate in the middle of the alpine desert.

Very nice little restaurant. They cater very much to veg and vegan meals, but they are not 100% vegan. I had the Bi-Bim-Bap bowl with tofu. Excellent!

I was able to stick with my meat-free, oil free, unprocessed diet here, even while my family found both animal-based and plant-based meals that were delicious and satisfying. I loved seeing which items were oil-free!

I come here way too often - Edit
This is my go to cafe in Reno. Best bowls and quesadillas in town. I love their rotating weekly and monthly specials, and the fact that they serve seasonal vegetables. My favorite is the veggie bowl, add tofu and sumac dressing (alongside the tahini dressing that comes with it). Best veg stand by that I’ve found so far.

This place is a fun and funky restaurant, with quick service and delicious food. I always get the Thai Bowl, but their menu is amazing. A lot of items can be made vegan or vegetarian, and it’s a very flexible atmosphere. You get good portions and good food for the price, it’s one of the cheaper veg-friendly places to eat in Reno. Their smoothies are delicious, and the staff are super friendly and helpful!

Loved it - Edit
This quirky cafe has clearly labeled vegan options, including entrees, smoothies and multiple types of vegan cookies. I had a cup of the coconut corn chowder (amazing!) and a tempeh and kale burrito (very good) and some kind of ginger smoothie (great).
Read moreMy only complaint would be that the kale in my burrito was slightly undercooked and had the stems. Either removing the stems or cooking the kale longer would make it easier to chew. My cousin had the same complaint with her bowl (which she otherwise loved).
The vegan cookies here were amazing! We got the snickerdoodle and oatmeal chocolate chip (of 4 vegan kinds available at our visit) to enjoy later and they were bliss in my mouth.
The atmosphere is casual / hip - they have interesting decor including some fancy toys on shelves, and plastic dinosaurs adorned the tables.
Pros: clearly labeled vegan options, awesome vegan cookies, quirky decor
Cons: undercooked kale (w/ stems)
