Beautiful experience but no vegan menu items

The service and view is extraordinary but there are no items on the menu without dairy. Even the Beyond Burger has aioli.

Pros: Wonderful service, Beautiful view , Beautiful food and drink presentation

Cons: No vegan menu items , Focus on meat and seafood

Not as good as it used to be

If one could eat atmosphere it would have been delicious.

After calling in advance several times, to make certain there would be a vegan offering ,,, there was not.

they did not offer anything ..let along an apology ,, after all you were already on the island

i had to talk with them and ask the chef to make something for me.. simple veggies .

and indeed they were ,,, another " chef " that had no idea how long to grill those giant chucks of yellow squash , or a too think slice of raw eggplant . and who doesn't just love undercooked asparagus ..

so many other places to eat

Pros: great outside dining area, nice boat ride over to the restaurant

Cons: no vegan food as promised, staff felt ' annoyed " it seemed, undercooked, giant chunks of inexpensive squash

Decent lunch, but unimaginative

Was told they were revamping the menu, so they had no vegan tacos as listed on the menu (out of the ingredients) . I was offered the Korean bowl, but opted for a Beyond burger (no vegan bun, but was told they were coming with the revamp) on lettuce. Fries aren't vegan, so they subbed an arugula salad, but it only had arugula and tomatoes.
Basic and boring. Chef obviously is uninspired which is a shame at such a lovely place.
Dessert option was sorbet, so I didn't bother with it.
Service was great and the view was lovely though.
Supposedly the vegan menu is expanding.

Pros: Great view, Great service

Cons: Very limited options

No vegan menu - only one dish

My sister got married on Sunset Key and this is the restaurant where we ate afterwards. There is only one vegan dish, the Miso noodles. All the others have either meat, fish, dairy or egg. As a starter, they made a salad for me (the arugula one from the menu, but they had to remove the hazelnuts cause they were coming with a condiment that had egg; they put almonds instead).

As a dish, I obviously ordered the miso noodles, as it is the only vegan option. It was ok. I didn't order any dessert.

I was excited about this place cause I had seen reviews from a while ago with pictures of a vegan menu, unfortunately I'm sad to say that there isn't any vegan menu. If you're going for the food, it will be really disappointing.

However, the place and the setting are really nice, and the staff was nice, hence 2 stars and not one.

Classic resort dining experience

While the options are few, they are very good. The view, staff and resort are all top-notch. If you aren't eating there more than twice, there are plenty of delicious vegan options. It is worth the trip!

Pros: Vegan menu, Ambiance

Cons: Limited menu

Food with a view

Latitudes is an experience more than a food stop. You ride a boat out to the island and then get high end service with an amazing ocean view. While the staff was knowledgeable about vegan options, there were sadly few and none were marked so on the lunch menu. However, after talking with my waiter, I ordered a salad and the falafel both with some alterations that they happily made in my favor. Both were packed with delicious flavors that I would gladly eat again. We finished with the sorbet dessert that was also good. In the end this an upscale place worth going for a special occasion. So, higher prices are to be expected. And, even though there are not a lot of options listed on the menu, the staff were more than willing to listen and work with me to make something suiting for me.

Pros: Romantic environment

Cons: Very few options, Expensive

Beautiful setting, Expensive

I would give 5 stars for the ambiance, 4 stars for making an effort to provide vegan options, 3 stars for the taste of their food, 3 stars for service, and 2 stars for the value. Despite my harsh criticism, I would go back again for special occasions.

Be prepared to open your wallet. For a group of 4 (3 of whom are vegan/vegetarian), having 1 cocktail each, apps, entree, and 1 dessert to share, our total bill was $250.

Taking a boat to Latitudes and enjoying dinner on the beach is a real treat. It’s an unforgettable setting and very romantic. That’s what sets this place apart from all the rest.

We were offered a vegan menu with three entree options (chickpea cakes, Caribbean patties, and Asian noodles), but no apps listed. I eventually chose the arugula salad which was delicious, but I’m a super fan of arugula. The Asian noodles were a huge disappointment (no flavor except for salt). The chickpea cakes were tasty but really soft and not firm like you’d expect from a “cake” description.

Service was OK. We loved their table bread (ask for the olive variety) and they happily brought us more, but our server wasn’t warm or engaging. She did her job. For the price we paid, we expected more from her and from the food.

Pros: Ambiance

Cons: Expensive

Way over priced for basically no vegan options

They said they had a vegan menu, it had three options and they didn’t have any prepared so a salad it is...

Pros: Good views

Cons: Expensive , $17 for a sad spring mix salad
