I wish I could give 5 stars - Edit
The food was incredible, I ate so much food. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We were fresh off the plane and definitely underdressed for how nice of restaurant this is. But honestly did not care when the food came out. We were obsessed with every single thing we ate here. If you are ever in Philly spend the money and go here!!!

Wow!! - Edit
This whole experience was amazing. Incredible service, unbelievable flavors. Tons of options. Had the salatim- it’s all vegan and is served family style for the table to share. It came with a dozen vegan small bowls with unique flavors. None were too spicy.
Read moreFor an entree got the roasted beets and the cauliflower. Both were melt-in-your-mouth perfect. The beets were flame broiled and topped with dukkah topping.
Vegan rhubarb ice cream was served for dessert.
The service was incredible. The staff knew so much about the food and flavors.
The ambiance is eclectic and retro.
Excellent experience.

So so so good!! - Edit
Lots of vegan offerings! They do serve meat so it’s a nice spot to go with Omni friends. All of the plant based options are amazing - and their Salatim is fully vegan always. 10/10!

Easy! - Edit
Menu is set up for very easy ordering. $39/pp for full spread of salatim (little spreads & cold salads) plus two grill items. Vegan grill items at this time were small eggplants and impossible slider patties which were fine. Hummus is insanely good. And the pita!!- super thick, chewy and delicious.

As delicious as Zahav, but better for vegans! - Edit
Laser Wolf is Zahav's brand new sister restaurant in Fishtown. You can either get JUST the salads and dips (called "salatim"--about 8-10 of them--so much variety!) for $18 or all the salads and dips PLUS a large, grilled entree AND dessert for $30. It's definitely a place for a special occasion, but you get so much food (we took half of it home) so it felt really worth it.
Read moreEvery. Single. Salatim. Is. Vegan. That's right folks, no skipping any of the delicious salads or dips! No yogurt here! There are so many options I honestly forget them all, but don't worry, if you go you get to try every single one. The ones I remember are: babaganoush, kale hummus, pickled fennel, roasted red pepper dip, but there are so many more and each is flavorful and stand-out.
The two vegetarian entrees are also vegan (or can easily be made vegan--I forget, so be sure to ask!). One is grilled mushroom and the other is grilled eggplant. Both were incredible--I liked the eggplant best, but my spouse described the mushroom as the best mushroom he's ever tasted, so you can't go wrong.
There was one vegan dessert option, a tahini ice cream sandwich dipped in chocolate--super yummy and I thought it was considerate that they had a vegan option--some places forget that vegans like dessert too!
As an added bonus, our server was super nice and knowledgeable about veganism, which is always a relief. He gave us french fries, which we wouldn't have ordered, but were actually some of the better fries I've had...
They also have a fantastic wine, beer, and cocktail list. Hard to go wrong here. Just go.
Pros: All-vegan dips and salads (salatim), Great drink list, Some of the best food I've had in Philly
Cons: Too much food ?😄Uncomfortably full after...
