Disappointing Lunch - Edit
I was attracted by the tofu and jack fruit dishes mentioned in the introduction. There were no vegan entrees on the lunch menu and the lunch combo was the only choice I saw for a hot vegetarian meal. I ordered the enchilada and tostada. I received essentially a bean tostada with a side of beans and rice, and a tortilla drenched with cheese. A lot of beans, with very little flavour. I’m surprised this restaurant is even listed with Happy Cow.

Veg Menu! - Edit
My boyfriend and I stopped by Las Brisas and enjoyed our meal. When we arrived, the lunch menu was not veg-friendly, but after asking, the waitress brought us the veg menu from the dinner section. We ordered the macho burrito, tofu fajitas, and house margaritas. My boyfriend liked his burrito, and I liked my fajitas. Everything was a smidge under-seasoned for my taste, but for the area and being labeled vegan, I was satisfied with the meal. The margaritas were really good.
Read moreOur waitress was very kind and understood veganism. After I ordered my fajitas with flour tortillas, the waitress came out to tell me they weren’t vegan and asked if I wanted corn instead. My boyfriend is not vegan, but it made us wonder if his burrito was really vegan. Perhaps only the small flour tortillas are not vegan, but next time I would ask to verify. Overall, it was a decent meal, with plenty of options and a nice vibe.

Had the best vegan burrito at Las Brisas! Great atmosphere on the cute outside patio, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
