Pricey, but high quality - Edit
'Laolao' translates to 'maternal grandmother'. The name was chosen because the founder uses their grandmother's recipes. They offer a variety of great dishes (several vegan choices, clearly marked), many of which feature the homemade noodles they are known for. The pricing is somewhat elevated, but justified considering the quality of the meals. I have been here several times and found the service staff to be always friendly and quick.
Read moreThe Restaurant has a beautiful interior, and is usually pretty busy - so you'd better put a reservation in, especially in the evenings. In the summer there is also outside seating available, but I'd recommend being seated inside instead as the proximity to Westbahnhof brings traffic and sometimes... well, a stranger kind pedestrian.

The food is really fantastic. The handpulled noodles and the handmade dumplings are fantastic. You can watch them pull the noddles and stuff the dumplings.

Die Gerichte sind sehr klar als vegan oder vegetarisch gekennzeichnet. Es gibt eine sehr sehr große Auswahl an veganen Speisen, sowohl bei den Vorspeisen als auch bei allen Kategorien der Hauptspeisen. Auch die versch. hausgemachten Tees sind sehr zu empfehlen. Speisen und Getränke werden auch super schön angerichtet.
