Super Tofu-Gulasch - Edit
Hab ein Tofu-Gulasch gegessen. Dachte nicht, dass es so gut schmecken würde, wurde aber eines besseren belehrt. Große Portion, wurde gut satt.

Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Karte hat viele vegane Optionen. Ich hatte das Gyros aus Austernpilzen mit Gemüsereis - sehr lecker!

Great venue to visit in mixed company - Edit
I visited with my lacto-ovo vegetarian wife and two meat-eating friends. It’s a traditional Bavarian restaurant with five or six vegan dishes on the menu. I had the roasted vegetables on black rice (one of the day’s specials) and it was very tasty. I would definitely go back.

They offer 5 clearly labelled main dishes, as well as a vegan breakfast, dessert and cake in a town where it's hard to find a vegan meal. Food was always delicious, but nothing special. Waiters are very friendly.

das Vegane Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Man sollte nur darauf achten, dass sich nicht doch vielleicht das originale Stück Butter auf den Teller verirrt hat. :-)

Enttäuschendes Mittagsessen / Disappointing Lunch - Edit
Ich habe mich wirklich auf das Mittagsessen im Landhaus gefreut und konnte mich erst zwischen den (ungewohnt vielen) veganen Optionen entscheiden. Habe dann das „Frische Bauernbaguette“ mit allerlei Dips gewählt. Frisch war da gar nichts und ein Baguette habe ich auch nicht bekommen - eher einen Brotkorb mit Aufbacksemmeln. Der Avocado-Dip war eine zerdrückte Avocado ohne jegliche Gewürze und der „Hummus“ waren pürierte Kichererbsen mit Currypulver (vom Vortag, da ranzig). Und das schlimmste ist, dass ich mir nichtmal sicher bin, ob das alles vegan war...
Read moreI was really looking forward to lunch at Landhaus and at first, I didn‘t know which of their many vegan options to pick. I went for the „Frische Bauernbaguette“ (fresh farmer‘s baguette) with various dips. There was nothing fresh about it and I wasn‘t served baguette but a selection of pre-baked rolls. The avocado dip was crushed avocado with no spices whatsoever and their „hummus“ was mashed chickpeas with curry powder (definitely not fresh). And worst of all is that I‘m not even sure it was really vegan...

Unexpected variety - Edit
On our cycling trip we took a break here. The nice outdoor seating is only disturbed by all the cars driving by. So we took a seat in the winter garden, it is comfy. As described, there are a lot of vegetarian and vegan (5) options for food as well as soy/oat milk and one vegan cake. We had two different types of curry which were quite heavy (soy cream?) but therefor tasty. Pricing is average. Drinking straw made of paper!

We had three different lovely vegan dishes. The kids ate their pasta so fast that we could not make a picture of it :).
