The staff were great at going through the best vegan options and certainly led me in the right direction. The laksa was amazing as was the fried rice. We’ve been back and the laksa get me every time!

Amazing Laska - Edit
The vegan laska here is a staple for me at Southland. It’s fresh, fragrant and creamy. I absolutely love it. Quick, fast and consistently delish. I eat it too often.

Ok for a meat heavy restaurant - Edit
I had the vegan Laksa at Laksa King at Southland Shopping Centre yesterday . I really wanted to hate it as it was the only vegan option on the menu - everyone else in the restaurant eating bits of animals and not the sort of restaurant I want to support. Unfortunately it was quite nice. 😳 — feeling unsure.

The sole vegan item is extremely delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. The restaurant is huge so you're guaranteed to get a seat and they serve the food EXTREMELY quickly. I also had the Ice Lychee drink on both occassions, which was unique and yummy - I highly recommend! Only 3 stars because I can never bring myself to give 4 to a place that sells meat/dairy and is absolutely nowhere near being all vegan - but I do appreciate having the clearly labelled yummy laksa :)

Delicious. Also, HUGE portion. I was soooo full of creamy spicy deliciousness. Best vegan thing you can get at Southland and the general Cheltenham area.
