Easy to just drop in if your vegan you'll be looked after - Edit
I have been to the Lakeside on lots of occasions, private functions Sunday Lunches and pizzas etc. I have always been looked after (I'm vegan). Carl the Manager is also Vegan so it's reassuring if you order vegan food it is what it is especially at private functions or if you go off piste with the menu 👍

Family friendly, dog friendly too when sitting near the bar. Been here loads as I used to live very near. I've tried the vegan hot dog which was very nice, I've also had the vegan curry stack which was delicious. The hot dog was tasty and of a good texture, both meals come with chips which are also good.

Family, friendly and modern style bar/restaurant with lovely exposed brickwork. We ordered the hot dog and vegan roast stack as part of the 2 for £15 mains deal. The hot dog was tasty and of a good texture with very good twice cooked chips. The vegan roast stack dish, which was roasted plant based fillet strips, mushrooms, chips and bbq sauce was disappointing and nothing like what I was expecting. The fillets were dry and the mushrooms were so thinly cut and added very little to the dish. Chips and sauce were good though. Safe to say I wouldn't get that dish next time.
