Vegetarian local restaurant with a very extensive menu. Lots of vegan and gluten free options and also most of the dishes can be veganized. The owner is the sweetest. He speaks very good English and Spanish, and he even gave us a free dessert. Also, we were served very fast and everything was very tasty and homemade. The place is nice decorated and warm. It doesn’t take cards. Would go back for sure.

The food was excellent, with a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options. However, the prices are higher compared to other places in the area. It’s worth noting that the restaurant is cash-only and does accept euros, but the exchange rate provided wasn’t very fair or clearly explained.

I spent the day with my sistwr in Česky Krumlov and I was worried about finding food.
Read moreThis place has so, so many vegan or adjustable options. Wholesome meals. Nutritious as well. The Dragon's Tail was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.
The place is gorgeous, cozy, warm and we didn't want to leave.
The owner made us feel at home and he even spoke Spanish.
We visited on 26th Dec and it was open.
Just do yourself a favour and pay this place a visit.

Comi três vezes no restaurante e foram todas excepcionais! Pratos saborosos e bem elaborados. Atendimento excelente, o dono é muito amigável. Recomendo a todos! Comi carne de soja com molho de cranberry, babaganoush e guacamole. Obs: Só aceitam pagamento em dinheiro.

I couldn't decide what to eat, so I got a tasting plate with several dishes for 289. They do have cheese on the menu, so specify if ordering vegan. Extremely friendly, hardworking service. A little tough to get an indoor table at lunchtime on 30 November, and if my experience in Prague is any indication, it'll be twice as busy in summer. Come early, and bring cash, since they don't accept credit cards. ATMs are in the town square about 100 meters away. Other than not accepting credit cards, I have only good things to say.

We hadn’t realised it’s cash only so after enjoying our food we offered to wash up - only joking, I stayed as collateral while B visited the ATM.
I had the Dragon’s tongue with couscous, which I promise is a vegan dish. B had Kung - Pao. Then for dessert I had the rice pudding thinking it would warm me up but it’s served cold lol. B had the sweet dumplings, Borka.
It’s a lovely place right on the rivers edge.

This is a really nice little spot. I wasn’t sure what to choose so I got the tasting plate. My favourite meal on there was the Dahl but overall it was very tasty and filling. The vegan options are clearly marked. The owner is lovely and welcoming. The dessert rice pudding was also delicious.

Maybe it was just my food that wasn't the best choice. I would say I would try again, because most photos looked really good.

My family and I had a great time here. We made a reservation, which meant we were able to get a table right next to the river. The owner and staff were very friendly and had a great sense of humor. Most of the meals can be veganized on request or are vegan by default. We chose nachos and hummus as starters. Both were delicious. I chose the couscous as my main course. It was very good. The real highlight for me was the dessert. I chose the buckweath pancake. It was possibly the best pancake I have ever eaten.

The perfect place to dine in Český Krumlov. The restaurant is located right next to the river and you can eat in beautiful scenery. The owner and crew are very open, sympathetic and friendly. The menu includes vegan dishes, but also vegetarian dishes that can be easily changed to vegan ones.

We adored this spot! Incredible food, great ambiance inside and out. We sat along the river enjoying the food and beautiful environment. I had the “Labyrinth of Tastes” sampler platter, with every corner holding a different delicious taste adventure. When a thunderstorm rolled in, we ran inside to the charming 15th century building to finish our meal. Really friendly and engaging waiter, note cash only
