Holy [censored] [censored], mind blown!

Incredible, flawless, delicious, this place has it all! Yeah it is expensive but not in my wildest dreams I ever thought visiting Laduree and being able to have everything in the menu! I felt so decadent, OMG. I had the French onion soup and I shared the brunch and croque monsieur with my friend, so much food! My fave was the eggs Benedict, such a delight!

Pros: All vegan!!!!! , Too good to be true

Cons: Pricey

French Quality and 100% Plant Based! Wow!!!

Unbelievable to have this kind of quality and variety! I just wish there were more of the same around. So hard to find high quality vegan pastry/patisserie/desserts. These guys are doing a sterling job and as a vegan I highly encourage you to visit them if you’re in the area. This is surely the future and a delicious one at that. It just shows that there is no excuse in this day and age for cruelty foods! Great job Laduree, I’ll be back with a vengeance!

Pros: Lots and lots and lots of options , Amazing quality , Sweet and savoury options

Cons: Expensive but totally worth it, You have to get to Beverly Hills to enjoy

OMG, such a treat!

If you are passing Beverly Hills, this is a right place to have a nice french breakfast or just coffee with some pastries! All the food and sweets we had there, were full of tastes and just mouthwatering! The service was super nice and the enviroment was very stylish. We loved the place!

Pros: Amazing food styling , Vegan macrons!, Wide option of pastries

Cons: Expensive

Hit or Miss

Vegan Chef Matthew Kenny converted this stale French bakery into a vegan hot spot. The decor is chic, the restaurant is bright and lively, and the food is hit or miss.

I ordered the Vegan Benedict, with vegan meat and a vegan egg (best I have had had) in between two pieces of house-made bread and coated with creamy, tangy Hollandaise sauce, A real treat!

I went back and ordered the Nicoise salad, and I was quite disappointed. The salad was 23 dollars, so I expected something spectacular, but it was below average. Many of the ingredients tasted as though they were from a jar/can (seems that the artichokes were they types you would buy at any inexpensive grocery store in a jar). The dressing was what I was most disappointed about. Flavorless.

The ambience of this place is great, but I think the dishes are inconsistent.

Yummy yummy

Very nice place. Everything is very delicious. Pastries are amazing, service is very good, People working there are intelligent and in good mood.
However everything is cooked in the toxic canola oil, or an olive oil blend, with canola oil, which I thought the place with such name and statue, and price point should step up to a better choices of cooking oils. I wish they used avocado oil, perilla oil, sesame, or coconut. Olive oil and flax seed oils make good dressings, while they can’t be heated because they go rancid fast after being heated. The world renowned chefs should know these rudimentary facts. The culinary schools must teach that.

Croissants

Saw this place on happycow and gave it a try. Here's my Laduree review. Got a plain croissant and a chocolate croissant. Both were delicious. I plan to go back soon to try more substantial dishes.

Delightful

Wow, everything really can be veganized, these guys have set the bar and there’s really no reason not to make high tea and sweet treats vegan! Service was so friendly and the mushroom pate was delicious. Cute place to go for a treat.

Pros: All vegan

Fully Vegan!

We came here after lunch and decided to get some something sweet.

We had 2 pastries which were absolutely delicious, an iced chocolate (which was too strong for our liking) and 6 macarons to go - which were also fantastic!

Would’ve loved to try their finger sandwiches/ sliders if we had more time!

Pros: Restaurant is now Completely Vegan, There is no other place like it, Incredibly delicious with High Tea atmosphere

Cons: High-end Prices

Now fully vegan!

I went in for my birthday celebration with several friends and we had a fantastic time! First of all, the space is cavity-inducing breathtaking. The perfect pastry shoppe design: it screams 1940 French bakery. The interior design is so nostalgic and fun. Bigger than it appears from the open-front street. You’ll notice a huge pastry case of all colors of the rainbow - this is what they feature here. Macarons, croissants, puffed pastries, jellies, chocolates - all controversially done without eggs, milk and butter! French traditionalists day “it’s not propper - you must use milk!” But Matthew Kenney blows that OUT OF THE WATER. I tried every desert. Haha. And the croissant was my favorite.

A small but meal-worthy food menu has been added. All vegan. Gluten-free options labeled. It was my bday so we all got nearly everything on the menu between us! There is a savory mushroom pastry with gravy that my group went nuts for. I loved the pate and salad. However everything else seemed bland to me and well, maybe that’s a French food style? I am from Los Angeles and am exposed to high-flavor Mexican cruising nearly daily, so ... Avocado roasts are fantastic, Mezze plate was okay (bland), finger sandwiches fun but also bland, potato gnocchis same. So there’s a theme here that seems cultural. I’ve eaten at Matthew Kennedy’s many other restaurants around the globe and none of those foods would I describe as unflavored, so I’m thinking this is quite intentional for the French pastry shoppe specifically. I also trained as his culinary academy and know how we learned inside the kitchen.

There are exquisite Champagnes, wines and champagne cocktails. All with a very light, lunch, French bakery feel.

Pros: Interior design, Paris pastries perfectly played vegan!, Colorful

Cons: EXPENSIVE
