La veganesa is in a lovely neighbourhood. Great atmosphere and staff is lovely. Unfortunately the food was really disappointing. I had the falafel plate which was I think the most expensive item on the menu yet it made me laugh when it came as the portion was rather small. I had to order some bread with it. I haven’t tried the other dishes, but I wouldn’t recommend getting the falafel plate. Worth for the atmosphere of the barrio tho

Nice vegan restaurant - Edit
Tucked in an lovely alley in the City center and very close to the City Hall and to the Cathedral you can find La Veganesa. Nice staff and menu - we were recommended the very original pepper stuffed with tortilla and didn't regret it. The hummus also boasts originality: it's made of chickpeas and beetroot - which turns out to work pretty well.

Carta completamente vegana, personal amable y el sitio es precioso. No doy más estrellas, porque la mayoría de los platos consiste en la versión vegana de productos cárnicos. Aunque tienen una carta muy larga, hay poco que me llama la atención. Pero eso es cuestión de gustos. Personalmente no me apetece mucho pedir carne/pescado/huevo/embutido vegano sino preferiría vegetales de verdad. Igualmente, lo que he probado está bueno.

There are many different dishes on the menu. All original recipes or traditional with a special twist. I’ve been here twice now, both times very happy.

Nice staff. Small place so reservation al lunchtime (Spains main meal) is recomended.

Lovely restaurant with many vegan options. Lots of seating inside and a small terrace on two sides. Book ahead of you want to eat outside! Great service, everyone was so nice.

Read moreLa scelta (interamente vegan) è ampia, PECCATO però che la maggior parte delle portate fosse troppo carica di curcuma e spezie simili così forti da coprire totalmente gli altri ingredienti e non riuscire così a terminare il piatto.
Se sistemassero questa cosa, penso che il locale nel complesso meriterebbe 5 stelle.
Pros: Molte opzioni , Location molto carina , Personale gentile
Cons: Qualita prezzo non buona , Troppe spezie coprivano il gusto

this place is 100% vegan, the staff was super (!) friendly. they offer mostly tapas but there's also some burgers and other "whole meals". the only con: a bit under seasoned, so maybe bring your own salt ;)

El sitio es muy acogedor. El restaurante está muy bien decorado y el trato es muy agradable. La carta es muy, muy variada. Tanto que cuesta decidirse por algo porque todo tiene muy buena pinta. Probamos los "huevos" rellenos, que estaban bien pero sin más, los buñuelos de algas que estaban muy ricos y la tabla de "embutidos y quesos". De esta última, que evidentemente no era casera, esperábamos más aunque estaba aceptable. Nos quedamos con ganas de probar más platos (el estofado). En conjunto el restaurante está muy bien
