The albóndigas in almond sauce 😍 - Edit
We had such a fun time trying many of the traditional tapas that we don’t usually eat. The seitan with garlic was so good, but our favorite of the evening was the meatballs in almond sauce.

Delicious tapas - Edit
The food there ranges from meh to amazing, with most of it being incredible. I don't recommend the potatoes, but just about everything else is delicious. Try their soups, they're super tasty.

Great for authentic-style tapas - Edit
Nice place with lots of options, would especially recommend the croquettes and gambas al pil pil! Would be even better with more vegetable options added to the menu too. Staff very friendly and patient with us practising our Spanish too😄

Basic but ok - Edit
Nice for a quick snack, majority of items are deep fried so not a super healthy meal for sure.

Great vegan tapas! - Edit
We loved the simple menu containing both typical vegan tapas (patatas bravas, pimientos de padron) and vegan versions of traditional meat and fish tapas. Our favourites were shrimps pil pil and octopus. The staff was friendly, but not intrusive, which we really appreciated. The beer was good too!

Great vegan tapas - Edit
Good taste for a good price. I’ve had patatas bravas, croquetas del día, ensalada rusa and patata alioli. Homemade lemonade is sour but good.

Nice - Edit
In a quiet little place just next to the beautiful place de la Merced, the reception of this small restaurant is nice. The proportions are adjustable to his hunger. Just two tables outside, otherwise it’s in. They have a lemon homemade lemonade and strawberry or ginger kombucha.

Great tapas - Edit
I would love to move into this place. The only thing I didn't like was that everything was quite fatty-it would have been nice to have a better mix of fatty and healthy food (we had a salad though). The price was cheap, nice atmosphere and pride flag! Cool place.

Yummy! - Edit
We had the calamari, croquetas, pinchos (chicken skewers), meat balls and patatas bravas. It was the perfect amount for two people and the food was very tasty. I particularly liked the calamari and meatballs which had a nutty sauce. I then had the Ferrero Roche cake for dessert which was so delicious.

Really good "shrimps" - Edit
Had the "shrimps", nuggets and the chorizo and onions fries. I was a bit disappointed because I had high expectations after reading the reviews here.

Never disappoints. - Edit
This place has never disappointed. It is relaxed with friendly and attentive staff. We tried their croquetas 'de queso' this time, alongside some other favourites. We had some decent red wine to accompany our tasty food. If you're in Málaga and want quick, great quality vegan tapas until late, we highly recommend this establishment.

Incredible Spanish-style tapas - Edit
Although the place is very small, I believe it represents the feel of a typical Spanish tapas bar - and the friendly, English speaking waiter more than made up for the transitory feel of the place. As for the food - well, empty plates all round describe our sentiments for the delicious tapas served! My husband ordered a Greek-style salad (very fresh, with a tasty feta-style cheeze), hummus and carrot sticks, plus the spicy potatoes - all really good. I ordered the fresh gazpacho (delicious), veggie meatballs in almond sauce (served over chips), and the Spanish “omelette” - I have no idea how they made the texture so omelettey - maybe I’ve forgotten how a traditional omelette tastes (it’s been over 10 years since I last had one) but it was certainly very, very satisfying. The wine was nice, too.

We were so happy to find vegan tapas, but didn't expected the fast food. Don't get me wrong it tasted good, but everything we had was fried and the most things came with fries.

Super delicious, great choices - Edit
I didn’t expect to eat tapas in Málaga but then I saw La Vegana and immediately went there and was not disappointed. One has the option to choose between different sizes for a dish so I ordered everything in small where possible to try multiple things. Also the house limo was great, not too sweet like in other places. Would definitely go back there.
