Disappointed - Edit
Interesting meny for non vegans, but the vegan alternatives are more or less the same as you can find at many other places. And not especially mexican.

Vegan nacho plate really worth it - Edit
Had dinner here and it was nice.
Read moreThe restaurant is quite big but also really popular (also on a Thursday) but we managed to get a table from the waiting list. I liked the interior and they had a lot of Mexican themed inspired decorations. The menu was a bit hard to understand and some dishes could be vegan but didn’t have a label. We had the “Nacho Y Salsa” as a starter with three vegan dip sauces, nothing special but was good. For main course I had the “Nachos de Sueco” which was really good, with vegan cheese, sour cream, corn chips and soy meat. Unfortunately it was a bit too spicy for me but still very tasty.
I would recommend going here but would definitely advise you to take the “Nachos de Sueco” as the person I went with had their tacos which were really small for the price. They also offer a very diverse drinking menu which I appreciate.

Great Vibe, Great Nachos, Tiny Tacos - Edit
This place is very popular and when we tried to reserve a table for dinner the following day (a Thursday) it was already fully booked. We put ourselves on the waitlist and around 2pm on Thursday we got a call that we got a spot. Yay!
Read moreI really liked the vibe of the restaurant. It was very colorful - green, red, and yellow - and there were things hanging from the ceiling.
The first hiccup happened when looking at the menu. There were no vegan labels and it was not clear what was vegan. I asked the waitress what was vegan, and the second hiccup happened. She was very kind and sweet but did not know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. She said she'd asked someone else to help us and a few minutes later a man came. I asked him the same thing and he said the vegan options were:
- Nachos Y Salsa (the mayo is vegan) 58 SEK
- Nachos de Sueco(with vegan cheese and soy minced meat if asked to get vegan) 109 SEK
- Sin Carne Taco 50 SEK
- La Baba Taco 55 SEK
Together we tried all of them, here are my verdicts:
I think the Nachos Y Salsa was great and worth the price. We got about 25 nacho chips in a bowl and three dips: avocado-salsa, salsa, and vegan mayo. The Nachos de Sueco was also very good. It was a plate full of nachos, soy minced meat, salsa, vegan cheese, and more. Yummy! The tacos, on the other hand, were disappointingly small. They were tiny! I had two Sin Carne and one La Baba, which did not make me even nearly full. I think I would've needed 5-6 to be completely full. Nevertheless, everything we had was tasty, including the tacos.
My recommendation: Go for the vegan Nachos de Sueco. I think it's really great that they have vegan cheese.
Another hiccup worth mentioning was that me and one more person in my company did not receive the beers we had ordered. As the waitress delivered our drinks she said they were out of those. We got similar drinks, but not the correct ones.
All-in-all, I liked my visit to La Tia Taco. I liked their vibe and attitude, and I'm glad that they have vegan minced meat, mayo and cheese. For a higher rating the staff would need to know what's vegan on the menu, and ideally the vegan options would be labeled as vegan.
