Pea soup was a nice surprise. Main course was a bit disappointing. Good taste, but simple, close to raw. Dessert made up for it in my opinion. My non-vegan table company was not excited overall because of the simple tastes.

Ze hebben hier 1 veganistisch voor, hoofd en nagerecht. Dan mag die toch echt wel heel lekker zijn. Maar het viel ons tegen. Zout- en smaakloos. Zet daarom op zijn minst en peper en zout op tafel.

We arrived late for lunch. Flore met us at the door and was very welcoming. We were the only clients. We felt very special. Flore was very accommodating and adjusted everything to our desires. One word. AMAZING! The app won’t allow me to give 5 stars. Flore deserves 6.

The restaurant is well-situated in the old part of Rouen. My partner and I went on a cold Tuesday night in November and there were only 3 customers including us. We were shown the menu board. There was a choice of 2 vegan starters and what appeared to be a choice of three vegan main courses and desserts but it turned out that there was no choice at all on the latter two - you just get everything.
Read moreHowever, the food was fresh, well prepared and tasty. There was no pretence in the serving but it all looked nice and we enjoyed the meal. Flore herself is an undoubted character and the restaurant has a quirky atmosphere. On the day we were there, she had an apprentice working so their dialogue was an amusing backdrop to the evening. But she really does understand what it is to be vegan so anyone worrying that the restaurant is not vegetarian or vegan should put their mind to rest.
It is recommended but the lack of any choice means that I doubt that people would want to go there more than once in a while.

Amuse bouches exceptionnels aux saveurs délicates. Une bouillabaisse aux légumes avec sa rouille qui manque un peu de piquant et de pain. Déception totale quant au plat en 4 saveurs. Pas vu de chrysanthèmes dans les lentilles. Juste une juxtaposition de 4 petits bols. Il faudrait faire un vrai plat.

Ce resto est bien plus végane qu'un resto végétalien non bio : quelle est la cohérence de refuser catégoriquement de consommer du carmin de cochenilles et de fermer les yeux sur le génocide de la faune sauvage au gaz de combat ( ces pesticides de synthèses qui éradiquent toutes vies des km à la ronde ! C'est pas comme si on était en pleine extinction de masse n'est ce pas! C'est tout à fait secondaire 😒)
Où comment troquer la dissonance animaux de compagnie vs animaux d'élevage contre faune domestiques vs faune sauvage !
Et en masse happycow à en tête 😡
Obscurantisme dogmatique navrant et tellement ingrat pour cette table absolument fabuleuse...
Pros: Jardin des délices, un feu dartifices de saveurs, Le plus végane de Rouen sans conteste !, Excellent rapport qualité /prix !

Wonderful experience for all the senses. Flore is preparing all the dishes herself based on locally available ingredients and is able to follow any diet restrictions. She is using a lot of spices and herbs and each dish is a piece of art. Highly recommended. Would deserve a 5 stars but it was not possible because not 100% veg. We had our best full wheat and dairy free menu. Merci Flore, nous reviendrons lors de nos passages en Normandie !!
