Had a lovely afternoon tea here a while back. Tons of great vegan options! Looks like they will reopen in June 2022 and I hope to visit again.

La Suite Hotel West - Edit
This hotel is temporarily closed and it’s unclear when they’ll reopen. I had a maintenance issue in my flat that in the last week that caused me to have to stay at a hotel and was so excited to give this place a try. Sadly, they have not reopened for business yet, nor has their vegan restaurant, Cafe 41. I physically walked over there to check and called. I gave it 5 stars since it’s a nice hotel (I’ve particularly always loved the outside area) and is some place I’d stay if/when I move away from London some day.

Excellent hotel with Vegan food (via Cafe Forty One) - Edit
Nice hotel for London, with nice rooms and especially vegan food in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and diner (early diner, check hours). The staff seems like very multi cultural making something English difficult for both of us, now that has from my side a charming side.

Nice place and great food - Edit
We stayed 2 nights and enjoy ourselves. I liked the feel of the hotel with its modern simplicity and free wifi (a must for us). Nice neighborhood, too. Best of all there is a vegan restaurant on the ground floor. Food was fantastic.

La Suite West - Edit
Location is fantastic and I want to support hotels that are vegan. But the room was minuscule (superior double) with a hard mattress and even harder pillow. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. The hotel breakfast was fine but there are lots of vegan breakfast places in the city that are better (and cheaper).

nice, but the room needs a fresh-up - Edit
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at La Suite West. The location next to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and the area around it are beautiful for taking a walk, public transport options are close too, there are shops, etc. - if you feel like it you may also walk straight up to Oxford Street too. ;) I quite liked the design of my room, the bath area looked nice, the bed was very comfortable and the small 'kitchen area' is handy too. The staff at the reception desk and in the restaurant area was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was nice. However, there were a few issues with my room. First and foremost I agree with the other comment that at least my room needs a fresh-up, the carpet and the sofa cover were full of stains. Also, even though my bed was made by the room service (and they unnecessarily took the still usuable towels btw, even though I left them hanging and not on the floor!), but the corners of the room didn't appear to have been cleaned, neither when I checked in nor during my whole stay. Also, even though I have to agree that overall it was fairly quiet, I did hear the people walking back and forth in the reception area as well as I felt the tube underneath. I definitively see myself returning to the place - especially if they renovate their rooms, like mentioned - but I think that I wouldn't want to stay in the basement again. ;)

Classy & delicious high tea - Edit
I would highly recommend their vegan afternoon high tea. A beautiful and delicious selection of savoury and sweet offerings. Very well presented and copious even for two people. In fact they offered us a 'doggy' box so we were still enjoying their patisseries the following day. I also swapped the tea for a vegan hot chocolate as I don't drink tea. All in all a very memorable afternoon in a beautiful space. I will visit again.

Vegan Afternoon Tea - Edit
I was delighted to find a vegan afternoon tea while visiting London. In fact, there are several different places but I prefer to give my business to fully vegan establishments like this one. I'm not sure why, but after eating there my stomach is quite upset (this has rarely happened since going vegan). In fairness, it might be because I accidentally ordered coffee and I never drink that. The food itself was OK. It must be made in advance and then put in the fridge because all of the food was ice cold (except from the scones which were warmed in the oven but extremely dense). The vegan smoked salmon was what really surprised me. It was really good, even though I didn't like smoked salmon before going vegan. I wouldn't take non-vegans here for tea as it might disappoint them. It was interesting to see items like vegan clotted cream, vegan honey, and vegan smoked salmon. The idea for the tea was great, but not well executed.

La Suite West - Edit
I had so much looking forward to vegan afternoon tea, and while visting London I found this place, with a lovely staff, but the afternoon tea was so so dull and bit worth anything close to the 40 pound it ended up to be. I did enjoy the 2 scones and thats all. They were nice and asked if I wanted to bring what was left with me but I said kindly that I really didnt. Maybe the other things on meny are good, and I salut the effort, but, no I wont come back here again.

Heaven - Edit
We loved the vegan continental breakfast. High quality food, nice assortment with great service. Their credit card machine was down so we had to go around the corner to get cash. For our troubles they gave us some delicious iced coffee to go.

Vegan High Tea - Edit
We loved coming here for Vegan High Tea in the afternoon. The tea itself could have been better. They should consider serving a traditional Earl Grey and not blended with other flavors. But the awesomeness of High Tea is their snacks! Their sandwiches were delicious (except the hummus was bland), the scones were yummy, and the lychee cocktail was refreshing. Would highly recommend, especially if you can sit outside.

Good vegan menu - Edit
Vegan menu. The food is good. Although I was a little disappointed with the vegan salmon. It was a slice of grapefruit. I'd expected a different thing. Overall, the staff, the neighbourhood and the food were good.

Vegan and Meat - Edit
This Hotel has to decide about having meat on their menu.
Read moreIt was very confusing for us and the wait staff what was what !.
Suggest the Hotel ..gets off the fence and goes Vegetarian and Vegan.Omitting all other products.
I feel that there would be a big demand for such a hotel in London.. We went there under the misguided advice ,from the Hotel ,that there would be no meat.
