Large variety of vegetarian and some vegan options

Very kind waitresses and one of the few places in the region with multiple vegan and vegetarian dishes. Very fresh. Could have been a bit higher in flavor and spices for my taste but well made and definitely worth visiting. Very nice setting in the forest.

Pros: Vegan options , Lots of vegetarian options, Beautiful setting

Cons: Could be a bit higher in flavor (personal taste)

Lovely location, but vegan options not great

This restaurant is in a great location and the building and inside are beautiful.
However their menu is small (this is a conscious choice for them, to offer local and seasonal food, and offer fresh food with as little waste as possible, which makes their options few too.
There is 1 vegan appetizer (entrée), the vegan quinoa salad. This is a delicious salad, and perfect for sharing. We loved the lemony hummus dressing which comes on the side.
However for mains, there is 1 vegan option and 1 vegetarian option (and 2 meat and 1 fish). The vegan main dish is literally just the salad again but a little bit bigger and with 4 deep fried balls they call falafel but which is definitely not falafel. This dish tastes nice but again, it is simply the same as the appetizer so… It also costs 21 euro, which is way too much.
The vegetarian option is a pasta with vegetables in a butter-sage-white wine sauce. It is absolutey delicious, but not vegan of course. I think if they used vegan butter alternatives (such as Alpro), this would be a delicious vegan option.
Waitress did know difference between vegetarian and vegan which is good.

Lekker en gezond

Ik was heel tevreden met de vegan salade, het was zeer smaakvol en gezond. Slechts enkele vegan opties op de kaart, daarvan zouden er meer mogen zijn.

Stop here, it's good!

There is a vegan dish and it is tasty and well served! Drink it with a Spa Finesse. Go! You can thank me later...

(The dish is a sweet potato curry.)

Great healthy option in the Ardennen

The options in the area are limited And this was a great find. Eventhough the options were limited with only the sweet potato curry as a vegan dish on the menu, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and suggested a vegan salad. Both dishes were very tasty and nicely decorated. Especially the salad was nice as it was bursting with local produce like some type of purple leaves that resembled nettles.

The location is ideal to do some hikes.

Pros: Fresh slow juices

Cons: Limited options, Good to make a reservation

Superbes options vegan

Le menu change regulierement. J ai eu la chance de gouter le curry de patate douce, aubergine et épinard. Le cadre du resto est très joli et le service amical. On y retournera tres vite

Excellent outdoor seating area and very tasteful food

Since it's very difficult to find something vegan in the Ardennes we were pleased to discover Barisart: not only the source of Belgium's most famous bottled water, but also a healthy restaurant. There is a lot of fish on the menu (we didn't notice any meat), but there are also veggie and vegan meals. And they are good!
We had the sweet potato curry with spinach and rice and a very tasty lentil salad with miso balls.

Pros: Great outdoor seating area, Easy parking, Only local food

Cons: Reservation needed, No menu online
