The first time I went to La Senda I ordered a chocolate cake to take away - it was amazing! I went back the next day for breakfast and ordered a fruit bowl with granola and mollettes. It was so nice to have a vegan version of a traditional Mexican breakfast, and it was so tasty.

Read moreI visited here for lunch during my final day in the city. The menu had a large variety of options including salad bowls, tacos, pasta, desserts, juices, smoothies and more. Everything was vegan! I ordered the Jackfruit Tacos, Cacao Cake and Fresada smoothie. It was all SOO delicious, flavourful and satisfying!! These were among the best vegan tacos that I ate during my two weeks in the Yucatan. The cacao cake was so rich and scrumptious as well.
The restaurant was super cute and had seating inside an open air area. There were some beautiful murals painted on the walls. The serving staff were lovely and so friendly and welcoming! The setting was peaceful and relaxed.
I loved everything about La Senda and would have eaten here every day if I had more time in PDC! I will return again and would 100% recommend for healthy vegan food.

The best vegan restaurant in playa! we were here for a week and came almost every day. Great food with good prices. Jackie, our server, was our favourite person in the city! The avocado toast and guac were 2 of our favourite dishes😄

Vegan Food in Playa del Carmen - Edit
I went to Cancun for a wedding then went to Playa del Carmen afterwards. I was really saddened and disappointed by the lack of satisfying vegan food in Cancun (it was my first time in Mexico and did not really know what to expect) so I was extremely happy to have found this place right across the street from my hotel.
Read moreI love that the entire menu was vegan. I especially loved the molletes (quite an authentic and fairly cheap Mexican food--> 2 piecees toast for 80pesos), and their zucchini pasta with lentils and tomato sauce.
The only reason I rate it 4/5 because the food takes quite awhile. My sisters ordered kombucha (1 for each of them) and they took 30 minutes to make.

I had the enmoladas for 100 pesos. The price was better than most places in town. The serving was huge with three tortillas filled with quinoa, mushrooms and spinach. The mole sauce wasn’t too spicy.

One of the best vegan places we've been to. The menu is big and there are a lot of healthy raw and vegan options (vs junk vegan). Prices are great and portions are huge. The food itself was delicious. Our daughter loved the raw cheesecake with ice cream. Will definitely come back again and highly recommend!

My partner and I came here for breakfast on Day 1 of our 2 week holiday based on the Happy Cow reviews. Totally agree with others reviews. Such a great space with a good vibe and awesome food. My only criticism is too much choice - everything looks great and it’s too hard to choose.

Honestly the food here is absolutely amazing!!! I visit here everytime Im in Playa. The past few years service was great but this last visit was honestly a nightmare. The place was slow and service was terrible. Waited 15 mins before i couldnt take it and asked for a menu. Asked for water and never received. My order was incorrect. Then trying to pay. They decided to take my money and then count the drawer down during shift change and had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for change. I believe manager was the one who took the bill and walked it over and then began to count the change. To be honest. I was deeply in love with this place until this visit and now im sad because Ill definitely miss the food and great prices. All in all enjoy the food. Just dont expect good service. It may be hit or miss.
