Serves meat, vegan options available. Located in the Hotel New Grand that was built in 1927 in front of Yamashita Park, this restaurant was designed by the Parisian Pierre-Yves Rochon to be an imitation of the design of the luxury French ocean liner, SS Normandie. Has vegan course lunch and dinner consisting of an amuse bouche, assorted seasonal vegetables, tofu steak with barbecue sauce (dinner), creamy pumpkin soup, soy meat rolled in cabbage leaves, coconut soup with caramelized banana, and coffee. Dress code is jacket preferred for dinner (tie optional). No shorts, beach sandals, or Japanese "zori" straw sandals. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-3:30pm, 5:30pm-9:00pm.

Read moreVery delicious European style food. Vegan and I also believe gluten-free
(bc the bread we got was rice flour bread!)
They also offer vegan wine (drinks are separate!)
Quite expensive but worth it once in a while.
