Let down after reviews here - Edit
Gluten free means. Corn stuff or without gluten items. We had the vegan burgers which is an unknown patty with just a fried block of tofu on top wrapped in lettuce with a tomato and avocado slice. Fries were not it at all. The brownie is the size of a half dollar coin. Honestly, good luck here in this town, bring your own food.

Wonderful Restaurant with Great Menu - Edit
My wife and I are both vegan and we live in Tucson, which has many great plant-based restaurant. We were on a a beach vacation near Puerto Penasco Mex. and searched for places with vegan options.
Read moreLa Negrita Restaurante was just the place. Roberto, the owner, was very friendly and suggested several possible dinners. We chose the portobello mushroom burgers with tofu, lettuce and tomato. It was great eating.
Pros: Offered many options that are vegan, Friendly atmosphere, They are sports fans and have games going on TVS

Besides vegan friendly they are also gluten free friendly, you can ask in advance for any special requests and they're glad to help you.

They are very accommodating to vegans. Ask the servers for other possible vegan options. The volcán was amazing tacos de papa ! Highly recommend!!!

The owner of the place was super friendly and knew how to speak English if you couldn't speak Spanish. The vocan vegano was delicious and big enough to serve two or more people. He also offered potato flauta, and those were yummy. Definitely have to come again and try other things.
