Thank goodness for beans - Edit
Grateful this place had some vegan options: Bruschetta which is literally toast with a slice of tomato on top, basket of bread you can dip in olive oil, they have a side of potatoes and white beans, garden salad, and pizza you can order without cheese. None of their pastas are vegan as they contain egg! Waitress spoke English and knew what vegan was

Cons: Pastas have egg , Bruschetta was disappointing

Poca scelta - Edit

Nice, but can do better - Edit
We ate here, because we couldn't find another place. And at first it looked very good.
Read moreThey have a vegan page in their menu, but I was really disappointed there were no vegan segundis. When I asked for vegan main courses, the waitress pointed at the pizza's with cheese... She obviously didn't know what vegan is! The only pizza without cheese was with tomatoes and garlic, not very creative, if you ask me.
The food was good, but not very special. I've had better.
When we paid, the bill turned out to be wrong. There were way more drinks on it than we had, so make sure to check it!
Also the same waitress offered me a little cookie/cake and when I refused she sand it was only with Nutella....Sigh....
I think you're probably better of at a regular pizzeria and ask for a pizza without cheese :-D
Pros: Vegan page on the menu
Cons: Staff doesn't know what vegan is, No vegan main courses, except one pizza. Be more c

Good dinner - Edit
The restaurant is located in the beautiful Tuscan village of Pienza , which has a breathtaking view over the valley. There are enough parking options.
Read moreThe restaurant is located at a small road, but there is not a lot of traffic so you can eat in peace.
There is a separate menu section for vegans and vegetarians with a good range of dishes. The staff will confirm if you're vegan/vegetarian. The staff is very friendly and their English is adequate.
The waiting time is not very long and the dishes are delicious! The fungi is great, you should try it! The portions are of a good size, they are not very small. The restaurant also serves various desserts, but you should go get ice cream in the village instead, it's much better.
Overall we had a very nice dining experience.
A first dish, main dish and side dish together cost approximately €20 which is not a lot for dining out. The meat can be more expensive, however. I definitely recommend eating here.
Pros: Nice staff, Tasty food, Fair price
Cons: Expensive meat
