We both loved the food (we had the beetroot vegan burger with fried potatoes & salad followed by a vegan chocolate brownie (see photos). Also loved the indoor/outdoor spaces especially the decor, very bohemian/arty.

La Mar de Vins is a pleasurable spot to enjoy meals with ease in a lush small garden. The staff is stress resistant, fast and authentically friendly. The menu offers lots of intriguing vegan options from tapas to mains to a dessert.
Read moreThe zucchini noodles with curry were creamy, flavoursome and light. The taste of the brownie and ice cream was ok, the consistency was quite odd. It’s still definitely a place to return to when in town in order to try other dishes.

Vor einigen Jahren waren wir hier und haben einheimische Limonade genossen...der Innenhof mit seinen Zitronenbäumen hat uns verzaubert und wir haben gern zurück gedacht.
Read moreDiesmal war es leider mehr als ernüchternd. Der Hof ist immer noch schön, das Personal nett und die Karte wurde positiv in Richtung vegan/vegetarisch überarbeitet.
Aber: Die regionale Limo gibt es nicht mehr. Die Preise sind völlig unangemessen angesetzt und die Beschreibungen irreführend.
Das Essen wirkte teilweise lieblos in Schüsseln geworfen und waren das Geld nicht wert. Patatas Bravas und eine handvoll gebratene Pilze (die in der Karte kreativ beschrieben waren) für jeweils 9 Euro...anschließend musste ich mir die Karte nochmal vor Augen halten, um mich zu vergewissern, ob wir wirklich Das bestellt hatte. Allein die Saucen waren gut gelungen.
Auch die pflanzl. Milch im Kaffee ist nicht passend ausgewählt worden. Ich vermute, dass eher zu irgendeiner statt zu einer Barista-Variante gegriffen wurde.
Letztendlich wurden wir aufgefordert, den Tisch frei zu machen, obwohl wir noch nicht ausgetrunken hatten.
Wir waren zu fünft und wirklich alle sehr enttäuscht.
Für einen Saft, Bier oder einen Nachtisch lohnt sich das Einkehren ganz bestimmt, um die schöne Location zu genießen.

This place is shut from November until March, or thereabouts, according to the lovely shopkeeper across the road. Don't always trust Happy Cow's opening/closing times as they might not have considered the seasonality of certain places.

My poor husband was bitten to death by mosquitoes while sat in the courtyard in the evening so cover up if you’re heading here.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure. The garden in the back is beautiful with fruit trees and flowers surrounding you. There are quite a few vegan and vegetarian options, all very clearly marked. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had the courgette noodles with coconut sauce and it was delicious. The vegan brownie was even better!

Secret courtyard garden - Edit
We stumbled across this place after a day at the beach and were so happy to see the huge choice for vegans on the menu! We weren’t expecting to discover the beautiful courtyard garden at the back. The waiting staff were so kind and our waitress brought us a dish of the patatas bravas sauce to try with our vegan burgers because we were considering ordering it as a starter but decided against it. The portions were filling but we managed to squeeze in a vegan brownie with oat milk ice cream for dessert and were glad we did- yum! Artà is a beautiful place to visit too.
