Feeding the homeless - Edit
I am in from out of town and called on Christmas Day to see if they were open. The owner answered the phone and said she was on the streets feeding the homeless. I can't account for her food but I love the work she's doing.

Good flavor - Edit
This restaurant has a dedicated vegan menu. There’s one for lunch and one for dinner. Each entree we had had good flavor, but the portions are pretty small, the food is extremely over priced, and no matter what you order, it’s the same three ingredients (squash, zucchini, and corn). Also, my kids were not fans.

Indigenous and delicious - Edit
The entire menu is gluten free, dairy free and with ingredients sourced only from the Americas. The owner was raised a vegetarian and is super proud of her vegan menu offerings. The lunch dishes my partner and I had were delicious. I had the Vegan Roasted Stuffed Poblano and my partner had the Wild Rice Porridge. Chocolate mousse for dessert. All were amazing.

Their menu focuses on pre-colonial foods, which excludes dairy, gluten, and means they have a large vegan menu. All of their desserts are vegan.

Would highly recommend making a reservation and coming here.

I also had the stuffed polenta and was blown away by everything, particularly the sauce. I cook, but I cannot touch that sauce !!! Can’t wait to go back. Also fun tasty mocktails.

Amazing Vegan Food in Taos - Edit
My husband found this place for brunch. Amazing - I had the vegan polenta dish with the red and green chili. He had the taco special. Everything made fresh including the ketchup for the potatoes. Run don’t walk to this place.

We had such a wonderful experience. Owner and Chef, Maria Valdez, nailed every dish. Our palates journeyed through an array of flavors and textures. Such a great find. Everything is made to order and from SCRATCH!! Intimate dining with Mocktail options for the non drinker. Incredible vibes and conversation. 5 stars for sure!!!! This is a MUST visit for when coming to Taos.

Tasty vegan options - Edit
Always prefer to go to fully vegan restaurants, but this one has several vegan options for brunch and dinner (including appetizers and desserts)! Nice to see when most places in Taos only have one option (if any at all). Co-owner is vegetarian and mentioned that they like to support clean eating/living.
Read moreWe got the polenta fries with a very tasty tomato jam, stuffed poblano pepper, vegan adovada (braised hibiscus which was very yummy), and some cacao banana nice cream for dessert.
