I’m surprised that this is listed as an option on HappyCow. I went here today and they have no vegan options on the menu. My waiter was very nice but clearly didn’t understand what vegan was or even what vegetarian was. I ordered the fajitas as I had seen someone else do on here, and I very clearly asked for them “vegan, so no meat, and no dairy such as cheese or sour cream”. He acted like he understand and then left. Then he came back and asked if I wanted mushrooms, as if he wasn’t sure if mushrooms were considered “meat” or not, and I said yeah sure. Then when my food came out, the fajita veggies had been cooked with shrimp mixed in. I told him “there’s shrimp in here”, and he said “oh, I didn’t realize you didn’t want that”. I said “yeah, shrimp is meat”. So he took the food back, and I’m not sure if they made it again or just picked all the shrimp out, because the plate came back out really fast. Either way I was hungry and it didn’t look like there was shrimp there anymore so I started eating. The food was alright, but there was a little cup of sour cream on the plate (which I could remove since it was in a cup) but clearly the “no dairy” part hadn’t sunk in. Then, when I got to the bottom of the little bowl of beans, I saw chunks of meat in it. Obviously it was too late to do anything about it at that point, but just beware if you go to eat here. I wouldn’t go unless I was really desperate. Also the food was over $16 before the tip, which I think is very overpriced for what I got.

My husband ordered the shrimp tacos salad and I had veggie fajitas. Really good.
