Super pretty place, disappointing food

The cave in which you are seated is incredible. Naturally cool, mostly naturally lit during the lunch time we visited.

When it came to the food, I had a mushroom soup and a mixiote vegetariano. Both were quite expensive, and both were very acidic. There were not many vegan options. I wish they had put in a little effort to provide some variety, something savoury.

Worth it if you really enjoy caves, though.

Really cool atmosphere

They only have one high priced vegan dish… don’t know why it’s one of the most expensive things on the menu for vegetables and rice…

Cons: Expensive for vegan

Eat in a cavern close to Teotihuacan

We were 3 adults and 4 children. It was not easy to find a restaurant close to Teotihuacan. We walk a bit further than the first available restaurants which were noisy and packed. And we found this nice restaurant inside a cavern. So unusual! In the mexican heat, we loved to eat in this cavern which allowed us to stay cool without A/C or ventilators. The food was fine, not very original but well done. We had mushrooms soup, fajitas with vegetables, guacamole, frijoles, arroz and we also ordered french fries for the kids.

Pros: eat in a cavern, some vegan options in an area where there is few

Cons: no vegan desserts, touristic prices
