Super pretty place, disappointing food - Edit
The cave in which you are seated is incredible. Naturally cool, mostly naturally lit during the lunch time we visited.
Read moreWhen it came to the food, I had a mushroom soup and a mixiote vegetariano. Both were quite expensive, and both were very acidic. There were not many vegan options. I wish they had put in a little effort to provide some variety, something savoury.
Worth it if you really enjoy caves, though.

Eat in a cavern close to Teotihuacan - Edit
We were 3 adults and 4 children. It was not easy to find a restaurant close to Teotihuacan. We walk a bit further than the first available restaurants which were noisy and packed. And we found this nice restaurant inside a cavern. So unusual! In the mexican heat, we loved to eat in this cavern which allowed us to stay cool without A/C or ventilators. The food was fine, not very original but well done. We had mushrooms soup, fajitas with vegetables, guacamole, frijoles, arroz and we also ordered french fries for the kids.
