Not much for vegan breakfast - Edit
Did not have a vegan breakfast option, they did come up with something when I asked though (fruit granola and yogurt). I was going to come for lunch while in Fisterra as well but don’t feel confident I’ll get a full meal.

Had breakfast there twice and it was really good. First time I had a muesli with fruit and soy milk, next day fruit with curd.

Service was very friendly but it can take a while.
Place is very close to the bus station and buses are leaving at 9:45 or 10:00. Many people come between 8:30 and 9:30.
Pros: vegan options, vegetarian options, friendly service
Cons: none

Good food, nice atmosphere - Edit
After a long day of walking I had the daily special which was a vegan empanada, something I haven’t yet seen in Spain. It was good enough for me to order another one once I finished.
Read moreAs we were eating, a dog was walking in and out of the restaurant with an enormous tumor on his flank. I assumed it was a street dog and called an association that helps animals on the Camino, and they told me to call the emergency services. Before I did that, I asked the owner if she knew anything about the dog and she was very defensive, telling me that it was her dog and asking why I cared. She claimed the dog has seen the vet 5 times and whether or not that’s true, it was shocking to see such a massive tumor on this dog and it was clearly affecting his ability to walk. Maybe she gets asked this a lot and she’s tired to explaining it, but I was surprised at her reaction since I was asking out of genuine concern.
Pros: Lots of variety , Nicely decorated restaurant

Nice lunch but really long wait - Edit
I had the rice with curry and vegetables, nothing to say about that. It was a very nice lunch, but I have to wait 40 mins for my food. Maybe it’s just me been unlucky that day😡

Dissatisfaction - Edit
Had the burgers with chips and salad. Burgers come without a bun, only patties without flavor consisting mainly of oatmeal. Fries ok, not good, salad next to nothing with two slices of tomato. For the price of 8,90 just disappointing.

Many vegan options! - Edit
It’s great to see a menu with vegan options clearly marked after several days on the Camino subsisting mainly on nuts, bananas, and potatoes. Lentil stew was hearty on a rainy day, as was the soy hot chocolate.

Best food in Finisterre, Spain - Edit
Most delicious nutritious vegan & vegetarian food in Finisterre! A welcome surprise after a long journey walking 900km Camino de Santiago where such wholesome veg food was difficult to find. Highly recommend this cafe/restaurant.
