The first time I walked in to La Fabrika we were not greeted at all. We were ignored. Fair enough, we were there to check it out. This morning I thought we would try it since they were one of the only places open. This time, and I understand maybe there is a cultural difference and it’s hard to read people when we are all wearing masks but still, we were basically asked what it is that we wanted. As if we were a nuisance. I would think it would be clear walking into a restaurant that we might be there for food or coffee. We were not even told “sorry we don’t have tables right now”. Instead we were told as if we were idiots “I don’t have tables”. We were not told we could wait, come back, @do yuh want food or coffee to go?” Very strange (non) service which I think is an issue of this establishment as we have been greeted warmly at several other restaurants. Couldn’t even tell you what they have on the menu as were were never told to look at one. QR code menus are big here and we would have needed their WiFi password for that. Don’t think they would have appreciated our ask. I felt like they did not want us there. We were wearing masks, showered, dressed in respectable clothes. Not sure what the problem was.
