First time I stopped by here I just got 2 empanadas to try them out. I went back a few days later and got 6 of them to take home and reheat myself! They had a complete section of vegan options and were very friendly and helpful. They had a 2 for €4,50 promo the 2nd time I stopped in during the lunch time.

Had two hummus vegan empanadas today. I went there at 3pm and they still had a lunch menu discount: 2 empanadas of the same flavour for 3,80€

About 8-9 vegan options that are really tasty and flavorful. For a 7 day trip to barcelone, I went there 2 times and would have love to go there a third time. It was really good, the staff were kind and they know what are in the empanadas (helpful for peoole with restriction). ¡Que rico fue!

I went back here two days in a row because these were the best empanadas I’ve ever had. The hummus one was my favorite, but they had 6 vegan options when I went (1 apple dessert flavor, the rest savory) all labeled with a little v leaf in the corner of the flavor sign.

I had the mushroom, the hummus, the Japanese one and the desert apple and cinnamon one. My favourites were the hummus and dessert one. So delicious. The girl working there told us that the hummus is made by a chef who has 3 Michelin stars haha!
Pros: Hummus empanadas! , Plenty of vegan options (look for leaf symbol)
Cons: No where to sit, but you can sit in the square :)

Best empanadas I’ve had in Barcelona (and I’ve been living here for over 5 years). I’m a touch confused by the other reviews - there are often multiple vegan options, clearly marked (it’s a small vegan leaf on the lower right of the wooden labels, or just ask - they’re very friendly). Granted, it’s not a huge amount (3-5, more sometimes), but most other empanada places have just 1 vegan option. They even vegan dulce de leche for sale! (Not the empanadas, but a jar of it, made with coconut milk)

Today, four of of their ca. 30 different varieties of empanadas were vegan - not exactly record-setting. I tried two, the artichoke one and the spinach one, both of which were fine, but clearly not brilliant. Indistinct taste. Only worth checking out if you are nearby, like I was.

The vegan empanadas are so delicious here. The hummus and pisto picante (hot pepper) ones are the best. And the apple and cinnamon one is pretty scrumptious too. The empanadas are baked and are only 1.90 euro each.
