Read moreSitting on a very uncomfortable stool in the corner, with nothing to look at but the beautiful but somber contemplating head sculpture on the table, I had so much time here that I too started to contemplate. Maybe this sculpture is actually another customer who had been waiting so long for her crepe that she turned into stone?
There were only three occupied tables beside me and the menu was very small, so I really can't find a reason for this absurd delay. Clearly something needs to change. Maybe make multiple similar dishes at the same time? Maybe prepare some things beforehand?
In hindsight I think that maybe the owner/cook told me it would take a long time but spoke so quietly that unfortunately I couldn't understand a word. A written menu with a clear warning would have been better (written menu is better than menu on glass anyway), or giving appetizers or something. (Or simply making dishes a bit faster..) .
After all that, the crêpe itself was fine. Not bad, nothing special. The side salad had too much lettuce and only a drizzle of balsamic vinegar as dressing.
Being a vegan in France, ce n'est pas facile 😢.

UPDATE: Worst salad of my life - Edit
UPDATE: I came back after a year. After waiting 30 minutes for my caesar salad in a nearly empty restaurant, I was served the most disgusting interpretation of a caesar salad I have ever seen. A massive plop of dressing on top, full-sized lettuce leaves (why???), grainy old tomatoes, flavorless vegan “chicken”. Wow, utterly shocked that I paid $18 for that. I almost always finish my food, as I am someone who wants to get my money’s worth, but this time, I picked out the chicken pieces, at a little lettuce, and left it at that.

PREVIOUS: I went here twice, first time I got a salad, second time the pizza slice and the ginger muffin. You order at the counter, then the food takes awhile to come out (unless you get one of the premade things like the pizza, which they just heat up).

This place was a treat to visit! Thank you so much for your delicious vegan dishes! The coffee was special and delicious - so carefully made! Friendly service, just wonderful. Cozy cafe - Edit
Both owners personally cook and attend to the customers. They also create their own plates. I particularly enjoyed the Mafi African stew and the Caesar salad. The brownie was absolutely amazing!

Lovely cafe currently hidden by scaffolding but they’re definitely open for business. The menu is on a portable blackboard they bring to your table. I had the quiche and B ordered the salad with ‘feta’. All fresh and delicious. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

Visited Nice recently and this place came up on my search so went for lunch. It was a midweek so we were able to get a table easily without booking. Staff were super friendly- the man spoke good English so was easy to find out what was on offer as was no written menu😄 My husband chose a sandwich type meal - was better than my description - and I had a stew type of meal. Both were delicious and made to order so we did have to wait a while. No problem there as the restaurant also sells some small items such as candles, incense etc so could browse the shopping too. I was very full after my huge main meal but had to try a dessert as vegan cakes are not easy to come by. We shared a slice of cake which was delicious. All reasonably priced - I would recommend a visit

A lovely little gem - Edit
I felt like I stepped back in time to this quaint, peaceful little cafe where everything is calm and welcoming. Small menu which I assume changes with whatever they make. I had the mushroom quiche with salad and it was delicious 10/10. There were cakes but I was full so will have to go back for coffee and cake another time. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff who were happy to speak English. I had vegan quiche which was tofu-based, warm with crispy pastry, with a crunchy salad and dressing. I saw some impressive-looking cakes but didn’t try one. Relaxing spot, I wasn’t rushed at all. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

I did have a really good slice of pizza. That with a pastry and a small bottled drink somehow ended up costing 15 euros, which is more than I expected. It would be better if they displayed their prices.

This place is really cute & has a little boutique and naturopath treatment area. I had a slice of vegan pizza which was pretty good, the carrot cake which was great and a chai latte which unfortunately was far too sweet and at 7 euros very overpriced.

We walked a long way to get a breaky here but there was only one option of pancakes and one pumpkin pie. Some unique tea choices and coffee was good. The food was really lovely we were just unlucky not to have any options that day. It’s a nice cafe, good seating and clean toilet. Staff are lovely. Sell crystals as well.
