Only vegan place in Versailles so far (and it's good!) - Edit
100% vegan cafe/canteen, offering two entrees, two main courses and a few desserts on the menu (which changes frequently). Everything is homemade (except for ice creams), organic and rather healthy! I also enjoyed having little condiment pots filled with gomasio and nooch on the table. It was hearty, not too expensive, might come back!

Headed back to the train station and was able to get a piece of plum gateau and a walnut vanilla ice cream. The cake was whole wheat based and just lovely—not too sweet. The ice cream really added!

Not the most outstanding experience in terms of food but definitely a very interesting concept and very friendly staff. Dont get me wrong, it might have been a bit bland but it was prepared properly. I imagine this would be the type of place I'd have lunch on a weekday at if I lived nearby. The selection is kind of narrow so just take what's currently on the menu (2-3 main dishes).

The menu consists of two main dishes and two desserts, which change weekly (check their Instagram or Facebook for the details).
Read moreWe had a stir-fry of vegetables with bulgur and a sweet&sour sauce; and roasted vegetables with millet and parsley pesto. As desserts, we had a chocolate/pear cake, and a yogurt/compote/granola verrine.
The food was simple and unpretentious; but it was very good.
And the prices were also very fair as you can get a main+dessert+drink set for €17.50.
The staff was friendly and welcoming; and the atmosphere was rather pleasant.
This is, for the moment, the only vegan café in Versailles, so it's a must if you're around.

The owner is really friendly. The atmosphere is really nice. Cakes and drinks are tasty. Near the castle, it's a really nice place for lunch or juste a quick break to eat.

Located on Versailles, at 27 rue de satory, a stone's throw from the chateau of Versailles, this restaurant and tea room opened in September 2019 is 100% organic, local and plant-based, the only one for miles around. This is why, a stopover in this city was necessary to discover this place.
Read moreIt is a Healthy restaurant whose menu offers two dishes and two desserts that are renewed each week.
The dishes and desserts are adapted to the seasons, for example in winter, the dishes were generous:
- Vegan mac and cheese, twist with butternut cream and salted granola
- Winter vegetable curry, semi-brown rice and coral lentils
- Chocolate pear cake
- Banana overturned cake
- Jasmine rice with vegetable milk, homemade apple and pear jelly
And in summer, they are rather light dishes:
- Millet and split pea salad with sautéed zucchini, tomatoes, parsley pesto sauce.
- Bulgur salad with coral lentils with carrots, cucumbers, garlic, ginger, sweet and savory soy sauce.
- Verrine yogurt with apple / strawberry compote, granola.
- Chocolate banana cake
Homemade drinks are also present: fruit kefir, orange soda, rosemary grapefruit iced tea.
The cozy decor is welcoming as is our host with a smile.
We are well informed about the content of the dishes.
The dishes are delicious and we find the tastes and flavors indicated on the map
The drinks and desserts are not sweet enough to appreciate all the other ingredients.
In short, an inevitable place if you go to Versailles to visit or eat!

Had a latte and a cake, both were nice. I will definitely come back again. Of you are here as a tourist, it's pretty close to the palace, so that's a plus.

Great vegan place in Versailles - Edit
The owner/chef cooks the days meals by herself every day. Therefore the menu is limited, but for good reason! The food is very good, well seasoned and can be eaten warm or chilled. I don't usually like cabbage, but I loved my warm cabbage dish. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. I definitely recommend it on your visit to Versailles.

Recorrer Versalles en invierno da hambre y frío. Tomamos dos cafés con leche de almendras y un orange muffin para compartir. Este restaurante es muy nuevo, todo se recicla (tienen un compost en el baño) y es el único 100% vegano en Versalles. Quedamos con ganas de probar el curry o las ensaladas. La dueña muy simpática.

This restaurant is very new, everything is recycled (they have a compost in the bathroom) and is the only 100% vegan in Versailles. We look forward to try their curry or salads. The owner (phani) was very nice!

Tiny cafe, very clean, with all clean-eating, vegan options. Two lunch entrees-one stew, one salad-three desserts, and three beverages. The ginger ale was the best.
