Good, but there are some issues

Nice little take-away parlor / eatery, several different choices which often change.
Many vegetarian dishes though, or recipes with fish - that smells a lot and might spoil the experience if you want to eat there.
Excellent if you just eat somewhere else, but be aware that servings are smallish.

Pros: Quick service, interesting recipes

Cons: Small servings, Lots of vegetarian dishes, Fish recipes (and consequent smell)

Super !

It's a small shop where Giuditta cook superlative vegan recipes and some with blue fish. They collaborate with a nutritionist and you can find balanced dishes. All ingredients are organic and the products so healthy. Take away or eat inside ( no waiter service ) it's so cheap. One of the best in Italy for healthy food.

amazing toasted sandwich!

The tofu toasted sandwich is not to be missed! Also had a chocolate mousse that was very nice, the staff were friendly and spoke good English, pointing out what was vegan and what wasn't.

Gourmet experience

We definitely had a very nice gourmet experience here: their homemade insalata russa was delicious, and so were the Hokkaido pumpkin gnocchi with seitan ragout. But the most memorable dish has been a tender, juicy seitan on celeriac-wheatgrass veloute with homemade vegan gorgonzola cheese melted on it: the taste was so authentic I was afraid it was real cheese. Our desserts were also nice: apricot cheesecake and pumpkin-almond cake on a bed of saffron custard. Well-presented dishes, friendly staff and nice setting. Definitely recommended.

Pros: menu is almost vegan, very nice food, nice setting

Cons: just a bit cold in winter

Tasty but small lunch

I had a good menu del giorno at lunch, which was a risotto and vegetable, green tea, and a very tiny appetiser before that. All good but a little small. I was still a little hungry after. The physical restaurant itself is interesting and eco-renovated.

Pros: Good food, good service

Cons: small portion

Great vegetarian (mostly vegan!) restaurant

Really nice vegetarian (actually I would say to 90% vegan), restaurant in the historical center of Genoa.
Thanks god we reserved, because the restaurant was full and people were even waiting in line for a table!
Everything we tried was incredibly yummy. I recommend the pumpkin gnocchi!
The portions were a bit small in my opinion, but it can also be that I am usually eating a lot :-)) and also quite pricey.
The service was perfect, all waitresses were very nice.
Overall a great vegetarian/vegan place in beautiful Genoa!

Pros: organic ingredients, great atmosphere, great service

Cons: quite expensive, quite small, small portions

Classy, minimialist, expensive, but worth it

Lunch for one, three courses with water, €29. Pretty expensive. The amuse-bouche that came out initially should have given that away. I had the vegan canneloni which was a bit disappointing, then the seitan with potatoes which was amazing but a tiny portion. Saved by the apple pie type dessert with lemon cream, which was excellent. Everyone else's food looked better than mine, so I'd give it another shot. And I still enjoyed what I had, but it was a bit overpriced for what it was.

Pros: great food, sophisticated environment

Cons: a bit overpriced, small portions

good place

the atmosphere is warm and welcoming however the limited space forced us to eat very close to other customers. the food was great and very well cooked, the portions were small and the bill quite high.

Pros: organic food, good food

Cons: small portions, quite expensive, too many tables in a small room

La Cucina diGiuditta

A great new restaurant tucked away in a back street of a main road in the city. Brand new and very clean the menu was only available in Italian but this may have changed in the last few weeks. The food looked and tasted great and it was a good find in an otherwise largely traditional Italian cuisine area. Friendly staff and some English spoken. Because we could not translate the menu, they brought us a plate of tasters of the menu and all were very well thought out. We found the place at lunch time and tried to book for dinner, remebering to bring our dictionary, but unfortunately, they were only open for lunch. Highly recommended if you can find it off the via S Lorenzo.

Pros: varied choice, good value, friendly staff

Cons: No English menu, Hidden away

Excellent food and hospitality

La Cucina di Giuditta is a new restaurant in Genova, unusual and maybe unique in his kind in the city. The local is totally hand made using only environmentally friendly materials, just like furniture. Food is taken in good care in all details and well laid out at customers. Food raw materials are only of biological, vegan and vegetarian first quality. There you can also find relax, sobriety, good service. A friendly but very high quality restaurant. You must try and enjoy it.
