I’ve never tried a piadineria before. They had three vegan options and a vegan burger. I had the vegan cheese, walnut spread and vegetables, which was 8,50ero. It was tasty and on a flat bread.

The first one was very hot, and tasted decent. Some of the mushrooms were a little hard to bite off, which didn't make it taste worse just made for a new experience, I guess.
The second one tasted very nutty, which was okay and to be expected given the ingredients. The rest of it tasted a bit off, too much spice I would guess.

Good vegan selection of piadine, I had the one with Beyond meat and it was really good! Stop by if you are in Trieste, they have nice outdoor seating close to the oldtown. They have vegan piadine with chocolate too.

I appreciate the fact that there are 5 vegan options, including one with vegan cheese. I had arugula and strachicco (vegan cheese). The wrap was a little bitter, still tasty though. Prices are okay (mine was the cheapest option and cost 5€)

After checking the opening hours I walked a long way to get here for lunch only to find the establishment closed. The same opening hours were also on La Caveja's door. Needless to say, I was annoyed after having trekked here from another side of the town.

This place is nothing fancy, but they have vegan options. The piadina is whole grain and they have 3 savory options and one sweet. We went for the La Nocita without the vegan cheese. It was good with just the olive pate, walnuts and greens. We didn’t expect much from this place, but it did the job of satiating us without being too unhealthy. And it was tasty. It was the best option for eats in town without cooked oils. The staff was also friendly, and the price of the wraps were decent.

The place is nice and clean and the vegetarian and vegan meals are clearly indicated, yet the service is very long (20 minutes for two wraps at lunch) and vegan meals are as expensive as meat ones, which I believe is a bit of a scam profit of the scarcity of vegan options in Trieste. If you eat milk and eggs, it is not better than a regular restaurant.

Vegetarian and vegan options in Trieste's "La Rambla" - Edit
I found out about this place some one late night 2 years ago after a Pearl Jam show in town, at the time they only had 3 or 4 vegetarian piadinas and salads. When I visited them again a couple days ago I was glad to see that they have added 5 vegan 8-cereal piadinas to the menu. The portions are more than large and prices are cheap, ranging from 3.50 to 6.50 euros for a piadina. The place is simple but cozy, the staff is friendly and service is quick. Sit outside, when the weather allows it, and enjoy the atmosphere of central Viale XX Settembre - Trieste's "La Rambla"!
