Out of vegan options - Edit
Last time I was at La Casita, it was very early morning on a Sunday, yet they were out of all vegan options, indicating they didn't have them available that day at all. When I asked if the oatmeal could be made vegan, the answer was, "The chef will probably put a little milk in it." If you're going to have vegan options on the menu, please have them available so that those of us who don't eat other options can still eat something.

Delicious - Edit
The location is very convenient; located on first ave with a parking lot close by. There are several vegan options including pancakes and the v-skillet with vegan eggs and choice of vegan chorizo or vegan sausage. Both were delicious! I have gone back several times. It is quite small inside and very busy. I normally choose places with a more comfortable atmosphere. (It is also actually cold inside.). It is very popular and frequently has a wait. I would like it better if it were bigger.

Great Vegan Breakfast - Edit
We had amazing service and our pick of seating when we went on an early Saturday morning! There is a small section of fully vegan breakfast options on the menu which is more than most restaurants in this area have. My husband and I shared the breakfast skillet, pancakes, omelette, and mimosas. The skillet and pancakes were our favorite!

Vegan Breakfast - Edit
Most vegan options for breakfast I’ve seen in Cedar Rapids. I had the V-Sammy with vegan sausage, egg, and cheese and a vanilla latte with oat milk. It was busy but we still got great service. Delicious food!
