Always really enjoy eating here, atmosphere is really nice, food is amazing, large portion sizes but there is the option for some to have a smaller portion

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, it's a very busy place. They have their own separate vegan menu with good options, most of them are gluten free.
Read moreAll of the dishes are essentially the same thing just in different forms. The ultimate sharing nachos was our favourite.
The food is catered to the English palate everything is very mild. The chilli which is used throughout the dishes could do with more flavour in my opinion.
It is usually very busy, so you might expect delays with food.

I had to ask for the vegan menu, which is separate, I wasn't asked if I had any dietary restrictions. Plenty of options to choose from, however was served dairy sour cream and cheese, luckily another server noticed and changed it before started eating and at the end offer a sweet with the receipt that had gelatin in it and when the server (same one that served the dairy) saw me looking at the ingredients, they confirmed it wasn't vegan. The food was nice but unfortunately you have to be vigilant.

Great vegan menu and tasty food - Edit
Would highly recommend; excellent food and a great vegan menu with gluten free options too. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan enchiladas which I ordered; I’m not sure what vegan cheese they use, however it was incredible! The churros were also delicious. I would love to come back, probably one of the best restaurants in Rugby!

Whilst they have always adapted food for vegans, they now have a separate vegan menu and vegan cheese. If you like Mexican food you will love this. Always a good atmosphere and friendly service.

Although perhaps a little pricier than other vegan restaurants in Rugby, La Casa Loco is defo worth your time and money. I come here on a monthly basis and have never been disappointed with the vegan food they offer. The staff are always friendly and informative and will let you know if there's a chance your food could be cross-contaminated with meat which is great. The decoration of the restaurant is intriguing and the atmosphere is always great.
