Good choice where other choices in the area are not great

While assured the night before on the phone that the refried beans and flour tortillas were made without lard or other animal ingredients when I arrived and ordered the server told me the refried beans are cooked with lard and the rice is cooked in flesh broth not vegetable broth. But they read the flour tortilla package and they happened to be vegan. So I got the vegetable fajitas and they substituted pinto beans for the refried beans, a double portion to substitute for the rice. The fajitas were very good and while cooked in oil not soaked like some places do. I really appreciated the server being honest and checking on the ingredients for me so our family could eat there. Good salsa.

All staff wore face covering and it was not crowded. Our family will be back.

Cons: veggies were a frozen CA blend, was ok but strange
