Romantic French restaurant

one of my favorite spots in LA for its romantic ambiance, excellent service, delicious food - including some really good vegan/gf options (I’m addicted to the Vegan Ricotta Squash Blossoms!) although, of course, they could offer more vegan/gf choices, especially on their brunch menu - and an all evening happy hour with decent house wines and fair prices. the patio transports you to France, you’d never know you were on Santa Monica Blvd. you can actually hear your dining companions and it feels really intimate because the tables are spaced out enough to allow for privacy. super romantic venue, very popular for birthdays, and just an all around LA gem. one of the few LA institutions that lives up to the hype!
