Lovely vegetarian Cafe with lots of vegan options - Edit
We loved this cute little cafe. We tried the apple cake which was vegan and they served it with a vegan Creme fraîche instead of the whipped cream. The owners were very friendly.

Nice option - Edit
No menu, they do a mixed vegetarian or mixed vegan plate. Had the vegan potato pie plate and a slice of chocolate cake. More vegan options for dessert would’ve been great!

Lovely Cafe & food. - Edit
This cafe doesn't have a printed menu, they cook seasonal dishes on a weekly basis. So, simply ask what's cooking. On my most recent visit there were 3 vegan choices. I went for the vegan mezze. My friend and I are keen foodies. We struck up a conversation with the owner who very kindly gave us a few of her pickle recipes.
Read moreBoth our meals were delicious. My friend chose the masala cottage pie which came with some of the salads. I can certainly recommend both our meals & the portion size was generous. We also went for iced tea to accompany our food.
There's a great selection of teas & coffees. Sadly there's a 50p additional charge if you want plant milk in your drink. No idea why this should be so, as plant milk isn't particularly expensive or niche. You won't find coke or Fanta here either but there is soda water if you want something fizzy to drink.
The cafe has a nice feel with old wooden shop drawers acting as the counter. There is also an amazing choice of chocolates & truffles to take away and a decent selection of cakes too. The vegan truffles have a separate cabinet of their own.
All in all this is a cafe worth stopping by.

Delectable Healthy Food, Great Atmosphere! - Edit
I'm so glad I FINALLY got to try Caffi Kyffin today. I had one of the most delicious lunches I have had in a long time, and I also left with lots of goodies from their display counters!
Read moreIn the chilled foods and salad bar, there were multiple dishes available for lunch, and many of them were also vegan. I already had my heart set on their Vegan Mezze before I had arrived, and I was absolutely blown away by it. The dish was thoughtfully presented and consisted of a huge range of different types of salads. The combination of colours and flavours was such a treat, and I felt genuinely full after. The woman who served me kindly took the time to explain to me what everything was and which items were vegan. I ended up taking a large bag of chocolates from their ALL VEGAN chocolate stand in addition to an outstanding Boozy Banana Loaf and a Chocolate Loaf.
Caffi Kyffin is a must visit for vegans in Bangor after honest healthy foods, and I simply cannot wait to return here with friends whom I know would absolutely appreciate it!
Pros: Delecious Healthy Food, Nice Staff, Over Half the Food Was Vegan, Good Music, Lots of Tea Options, Loads of Products Available

A Surprising Find - Edit
Stopped off the train in Bangor just to have a walk around and poked my head in here. Next thing I knew I had a bowl of soup, slice of enchilada pie and various salads in front of me. There was also a local band playing in the front of the cafe.

Staff were lovely and food was tasty. Abut too ‘healthy’ for my son and not a huge choice but the menu changes every day. We had a giant potato pie and an assortment of salads.

Most of the breakfast menu is vegan..maybe all of it actually - Edit
I asked and most (if not all) of the breakfast menu is vegan. I had the chocolate waffle with yoghurt and fruit. It was just big enough for breakfast. I also had a soy flat white. My partner had the spicy beans and it was so nice to see brown bread with it.

Such a lovely shop too. I wanted to buy one of every vegan chocolate but my case won’t cope with that. Lovely staff.

Such good food. Why hasn't this place got more reviews? - Edit
The food is so tasty, there's nothing junky about this place . All homemade, nutritious and with such flair. I asked her if she gives cooking lessons it tasted so good. She does! If I lived here I would definitely go. Perfect lunch place. Very vegan friendly.

Much improved! - Edit
Despite my first visit to Kyffin being disappointing, all my visits since have been brilliant! All menu items are wonderfully nutritious and change on a regular basis. At least two of the four daily specials are usually vegan, and there is usually at least one vegan cake on offer too! You do have to ask which cakes are vegan though, as unlike for the mains, the cakes are not labelled.

Excellent food and service - Edit
I came here with a friend for lunch yesterday and it was fantastic. Bangor isn't exactly the most vegan-friendly of places, but this place just totally blew us away! The menu is clearly labelled with vegan options, which that day included a fantastic aubergine envoltini served with a selection of delicious fresh salads. There were also plenty of vegan cakes on offer, although I didn't try any this time. An absolute gem and must-visit for vegans in Bangor!
