Not tasty but at least vegan - Edit
The vegan okonomiyaki was basically cabbage and noodles. The only seasoning was the vegan sauce. Not good but not bad either and it was the only place that was open.

Good option on Miyajima Island - Edit
I wouldn't have gone inside if I haden't seen it on Happycow. We first asked the staff if they could accommodate vegans and they said yes. We had the mochi Okonomi-yaki made vegan so no egg, no fish, no cheese. It was a bit dry but they had a vegan sauce with it and it was good. It took a long time to prepare because they make sure to separate our food from all the other foods, which is great but be prepared to wait a bit. It's very cheap.

Good for a spaghetti veg pancake - Edit
Good okonomiyaki! Very accommodating for vegetarian (no fish) and also gluten free. Veg okonomiyaki was noodles, egg, and cabbage. I also added in cheese.

Super tasty authentic Okonomiyaki - Edit
This was a great authentic place for Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. We had the basic with no pork or egg but added in the ricecakes. It turned out amazing!!!!

Pros: El restaurante
Cons: La opción vegana es muy simple

Great okonomiyaki - Edit
They offer a very rich vegan okotomiyaki. The griddle they use for blind esyosnokoyomiyakis is not different, and the sauce they use is also marked 100% vegan. Unfortunately they were out of vegan cheese. But overall, a highly recommended site.

Good snack - Edit
They offer Okonomiyaki hiroshima style. They have a vegan Okonomiyaki sauce and spicy seasoning. The taste wasn't super special but it's a cool experience to watch them cook at the counter.

Good mid-day dish - Edit
There are dozens of eateries in the main shopping street in miyajima but their adherence to Japanese and local traditions means that vegan/vegetarian is foreign to them. Here too there is no indication outside the establishment that they have any vegan dish. But once we entered and asked if they have vegan/vegetarian it was clear that we’re not the first asking this. If you sit at the bar - They make the dish in front of you first spreading the flour based batter, then adding the ingredients starting with a mountain of cabbage. If you ask for vegetarian they double check if eggs and or cheese are okay. They do prepare the ingredients on separate tepanyakis so those worried about contamination can be at ease. The food is served quickly, and it’s a decent size dish. Oh and yes it is tasty as well.

Fed us! - Edit
Great we could actually eat somewhere. Rice pancake with bean sprouts, cabbage, noodles and sauce. Not amazing in flavour but totally fine - no vegan cheese on offer as HappyCow states. Cross contamination wise I was happy also as it seemed each stage of cooking had separate area and ours didn’t go near where the fish/meet or eggs were cooked. Great option to have and nice to try local cuisine and good atmosphere to sit watching it be made

Good for vegetarians :) - Edit
Ask the staff for no pork Okonimi-yaki. You get the vegetarian sauce as well. The food is quite tasty. Prices are reasonable. Good way to try traditional dish.

Vegan Okonimiyaki Hiroshima-style!! - Edit
Almost only vegan option in Miyajima!! The staff will cook it in right front of you. I checked the noodle sometimes contain egg but they told me that noodle doesn’t have eggs. If you are a vegan, shoe this to the staff ↓
