Kura is a chain that offers decent, though not particularly exciting, vegan options. These options include veggie, cucumber, and avocado hand rolls (with seaweed or rice paper wrapping), cucumber rolls, inari cucumber salad, edamame, watermelon, warabimochi, and sesame balls. According to the online allergen guide, the miso soup may be vegan, but I would ask before ordering.
Read moreWhile I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, it’s an acceptable compromise when with non-veg people. I’ve heard non-veg diners complain about the declining quality of the fish, but for us veg folks, their plant-based options remain consistently good. This location had fewer veg options on the conveyor belt, which was a bit frustrating as I watched others start eating. However, I easily ordered everything I wanted using the tablet at the table.
