Kung WOW - Edit
The Vegan Soy Curls Potstickers are filled with spice-infused soy curls, napa cabbage, and shiitake, and pan-fried to a golden brown. They are flavorful even without sauce. The Cherry Tofu includes fried tofu, broccoli, minced garlic, and ginger. Be sure to order a side of rice to soak up the tangy Peking sauce.

Vegan Options! - Edit
Portland is extremely lacking when it comes to quality Chinese food, & unfortunately Kung POW is no exception. The sister restaurant of Shandong has consistently offered a vegetables section as well as a tofu/soy curls section on their menu, however dishes come protein-heavy with a sparse array of vegetables given the prices (entrees do not come with rice, either).

Lots of great vegan options! - Edit
There were so many vegan options, both tofu and soy curls. Especially loved that many dishes could also be made gluten free, it's really hard to find both.

Spring Rolls Not Vegan! - Edit
Some fantastic fried tofu/soy curl dishes (clearly marked vegan). However, some vegan appetizers are marked vegan (vegan pot stickers), but some aren’t (fried tofu appetizer). This creates confusion for other appetizers that seem vegan (spring rolls), but are not. Even though spring roll wrappers generally don’t contain egg, theirs apparently do. Still highly recommend this restaurant—just wish they had vegan spring rolls!

Decent Vegan Menu - Edit
We tried the Mongolian soy curls, which I was afraid would be too spicy for me but really wasn’t very spicy at all. Overall I thought they had good flavor. We also got the vegan potstickers which I thought lacked flavor. If you get them, definitely dip them in the sauce they come with or they are just bland. We also got the vegetable trio. Not particularly amazing just a nice veggie side.

This place excels at their treatment of soy curls. Meals can be kind of one-dimensional, but delicious nonetheless.

Amazing vegan options! - Edit
Two entire sections of the menu are dedicated to vegan options — “vegetables” and “soy curls / tofu.” These include rice and noodles. Delicious sauces. There are quite a few clearly labeled vegan appetizers as well.
