Lovely restaurant running by lovely people - Edit
The food is cooked super fresh and made with love.
Read moreWe had the salat and the chocolate cake as a dessert which were both soo delicious.
You need to try out their chai tea, it was one of the best ones I had.
The staff is very friendly and funny as well :-)
We will definitely come back!

Overpriced and bit of a hype - Edit
The restaurant has a very limited menu. De burgers tast fine, but are definitly not wow. I had the jalapeno burger, and for me it was at most a bit spicy. The sauces on the table also miss the spicy tast. You can find much better food for this price.

Disappointing! - Edit
Based on the reviews I was excited but I’m sorry to say the burger was just really meh, it was a veggie patty with some seeds which became mushy when you ate. They only offer burgers, must have changed the menus since some other reviews here. Would have loved some chips on the side because it was very expensive for just a burger! On the plus side, the service was great, they make their own hot sauces, which you can even purchase from them. Also the decor and style of the place was great, although I was confused by the (presumably fake) animal head carcass in the bathroom, seemed an odd decor choice for a vegan place.

Amazing - Edit
We ordered the vegan hamburger and it was excellent and we also ordered the iced tea and the chocolate cake which were also great but in my opinion the star of the meal was an amazing drink that has ginger in it, it was a simply brilliant drink. The hostess was nice and her attitude made our food even tastier. At the end of the meal we even bought her homemade sauces.

Tried the naked burger with house salad, super tasty and high quality. The chocolate cake is also amazing (GF and sugar free).

nice burger - Edit
the place is real nice!
Read morethe burger is really good, tasty, and the waitress was extremely nice and friendly. you can also buy their house spicy sauces, which are delicious!
however, i think that the place should at least offer some fries with the burger, and add another dish (there are four items on the menu, and they are actually all the same burger, but with spicy added for the jalapeño one, and no bun for the other option)!
the waitress also confused a lot of our order, giving us 3 jalapeño burgers and 1 normal one, instead of 3 normal ones and 1 jalapeño ; she also gave us one cold american coffee and one hot espresso, when we ordered the opposite!
it didn’t bothered us much, and we really enjoyed our lunch, but if you really want a particular item, i would suggest making sure that the waitress got it right when ordering!
Pros: yummy burger , super friendly staff , pretty place
Cons: one dish only

Best vegan restaurant in Chiang Rai - Edit
We absolutely loved this place. A small option of items that are all fabulous. We also enjoyed the gin/ginger cocktail and the dessert was heavenly. Oh, and the view looking out from the restaurant is unbeatable.

Great Veg Burger - Edit
I dont really like the fake meat style burgers so was happy to see they make their own patties out of real whole foods.
Read moreBurgers were big and taste great. I liked they were not overly salted like most V burgers. They have salt grinders on tables for those who want it saltier. Pepper grinders as well.
Their own braded hot sauces were also on every table and excellent. Burgers needed the hot sauces, imo, and they had 3 styles to choose. All were flavorful without being overly spicy.
Will always stop here when in Chiang Rai.

Fully vegan menu- they only have 2 things on the whole menu which is their famous vegan burger in a freshly made almond bun. It is sooo soo incredibly fresh and tasty!! The staff are so kind, friendly and really passionate about plant based cooking ☺️

The sandwich wasn't super tasty and it was decently the most expensive lunch in Chiang Rai. Good atmosphere though. The choice should have been bigger.

What a great place! - Edit
The burger was so good and the hot sauces were insane! The chef greated in such a kind manner that we felt right at home. They also gave us a piece of chocolate cake to try and it was so good! Also, we really liked the logo of the place.

Pretty setting - Edit
I wanted to love this place. The service is super lovely. The view out the front is a stunning temple, and the owner really did a beautiful job decorating the interior. It has great atmosphere.
Read moreUnfortunately when it came to the food I must agree with some of the other reviews. It seems that since the pandemic they only serve burgers and chocolate cake. I was thinking the burgers would be amazing. We found them a bit bland and mooshy. The hot sauce they make is very good and helped save the meal!
Everyone has a different pallet. I’m someone who enjoys mushroom burgers and impossible burgers to give you an idea of my preference. It seems many people love these burgers. You may love these burgers too! So don’t let me stop you. They just weren’t for us.
Side note, they also do drinks, so perhaps go enjoy a beverage and the atmosphere😄
Pros: Good atmosphere , Nice view
Cons: Limited options

Surprising Hit! - Edit
Who could pass on such a wonderful, wholesome vegan burger in Chiang Rai of all places?
Read moreKUNDA is the go-to spot for any veg eaters like myself. They use a Naked burger patty with homemade sauce and bun that is fluffy and delicious. The burger was excellent and coupled with a refreshing drink, it is the perfect spot for lunch. I only wish that fries came with the burger since it does cost a bit more than other restaurants, but is still tasty just with the burger.
Don't forget to check out their Chocolate Cake which is gluten-free and uses no added sugar.
All vegan minus honey.

Very cool vibe, tucked away in a quiet corner in downtown Chiang Rai. Super nice owners, you can feel their passion. Really small menu, you are going to have a burger, and that’s that 😁
Read moreThey also have creative drinks (dirty chai like no other) and a super clean chocolate dessert. Highly recommended.
Pros: Very clean food, organic , House made buns

Great owner but slightly disappointing food - Edit
The lady who owns the restaurant was so lovely and chatty, she was so passionate about the ethos of her restaurant and made us feel so welcome.
Read moreI did find the menu slightly disappointing- very little to choose from, you could say quality over quantity but to me the burgers were a little bland and unsubstantial. My boyfriend had the jalapeño burger but ended up having to lather it in their homemade hot sauce (which by the way is delicious). For the price I think it would be nice if they came with some homes made chips or something

Tasty food - Edit
The owner is very friendly and takes great pride in what she produces- all homemade, including the bread. It’s a very limited menu & quite pricey, so you’ll probably only end up visiting once on a trip but you won’t be disappointed. The burgers were delicious. We got a meal deal which included a dirty chai and chocolate cake with a burger and added another burger. The chocolate cake (it’s not really a cake- see pics) was soooo good. We enjoyed the chai tea & dirty chai. The cafe is nicely decorated (except for the animal skull in the bathroom) & has lovely views onto the temple across the road #Veganuary

Delicious food, everything homemade, own chilli sauces, great drinks too, nice and chillout place, extremly friendly staff. Options are somewhat limited to burger, salad and cake. But since that is what you come here for, that is totally fine.

Good food, bad price - Edit
The food is generally good. VERY small menu (only two burgers) and exorbitantly high prices for what it is. I understand they use “fresh ingredients,” but so does almost every other restaurant in Thailand. 700 bhat for 2 burgers and a salad is absurd, I don’t care how “fresh” it is.

Filling yummy burgers - Edit
This 100% vegan place was an absolute find. The owner makes her own patties. She’s hands on in the restaurant and so so friendly. The menu is extremely limited, but that adds to the charm. It’s strictly a burger place, with side salad but no chips (which is obviously fine, but be prepared for that).
